Day 4-- Universal

So, don't get me wrong, I liked Universal and all but it just isn't Disney!!!!
We Got up and the hubby went down to get coffee again. Loving this!!!!! We did finally ask for a coffee maker to be brought up to our room that day before we left. We finally got smarter!!!!

He drove over to Universal and did valet parking. It was $16 AUGGGG but I will say it was nice since we didn't have to walk far at all. We had breakfast at a little counter service right inside City walk. I had a children's breakfast meal which I thought was quite big. ( eggs, bacon and potatoes) My husband got breakfast pizza. Both were good , especially since we were so sick of danish!!
We then ventured over to some rides. We did Back to the future , Which I will say I think is better than Star tours,Jaws,E.T. ,Men in Black ( fun... husband liked this better than Buzz),Monster makeup show(very funy) and Mummy ( Husband rated this the best ride of the vacation. My eyes were closed through much of this::yes:: )Earthquake( kind of boring) Shrek,(good but not as good as any of the WDW 3D)
We ate lunch at Mell's..... ok I know... people said this was not that great but we stopped in there and wellll....., they were right. Not good at all. We only got a burger and fries but blahhhh.

We left around 5. Park was not crowded at all the whole time we were there and that was nice since we got to just take our time.

We got back to the YC. Ohhhhhh I just love it here:)
We rested on our balcony and enjoyed the nice weather. We then went to Cape May For our 7pm PS.

Dinner here was good. Hubby like the mussles but said the clams were just so so. The peel and eat shrimp were warm and I will say that I like them quite cold but they were good. Food here was good over all and we may do this one again next year.
We had a table of children and teens close to us ( their parents were at a table next to them) LOUD!!! We were shocked at how these parents were letting their kids be so loud and obnoxious.
We then experienced a table with parents and two young girls. They were right next to us and I just had to comment to the mom that she had the most polite and well behaved children. This seemed to make her happy and stated that she tries:)
(I like to mention this to parents who have very well behaved children... they deserve a lot of credit)

By the way the desserts here were also very good.... This time we made sure not to over do it since we learned our lesson at Boma's!!!::yes::

We went back to our room to relax and sit out on our wonderful balcony. The lights over at boardwalk were just beautiful.

I "did" Universal in August and I agree it isn't Disney - a good day and dinner at Camp May yum - thanks for posting!
