Dear child,

Congratulations! You have just been accepted into the Hawkins Academy for Young Performing Artists! You are receiving this because either you or your parent has applied you into this school for your great talents and we have decided that you are worthy enough to attend. Now before you can attend, there is some information you need to know.​

General Rules
~No harassment, intimidation, or bullying. These are NOT TOLERATED WHATSOEVER in this academy! If you do it you will be kicked out.
~You must attend all of your classes every day! If you cut class more than 3 times, you will be punished.
~You must be on time to class every day unless you have a good reason to be late. 3 lates to one class will be punished.
~Curfew is at 10:00 pm until 5:00 am. All students MUST be in their dorms in that time or else you will receive consequences!
~No leaving the school property whatsoever! You will be kicked out if you do! The only time you may leave is on Beach Bash Day, Ditch Day, or if your parent is coming to pick you up.
~Use your talents creatively every day!

Dorms
All dorms are separated by boys and girls. There are two boy dorms and two girl dorms. Each room can house two or three people.

Food
Meals will be served every day. Every meal is free. Meals can be eaten in the cafeteria or outside. Snacks can be purchased for low prices in the school store.

~Advanced Theatre for actors/actresses

Why don't you just narrow it down? Like, only for people in the music business? Or only for things dealing with acting and theatre/filming? Limiting would make the idea more defined and unique

Personality: Very nerdy and smart, she doesn't exactly enjoy school, but she's very good at it. She likes to draw and work on her violin playing whenever she can. As good at school as Kari is, she isn't too good at the social part of life. She's self conscious and is usually wondering how she appears to other people.

Background (optional, not too long please!): There's not too much to Kari's story- she had been taking guitar lessons ever since she was little, and was inspired when she saw modern violinists, and took up playing the violin as well. Her parents are divorced, and she lives with her mother, who encourages her skills.

Background (optional, not too long please!): She's not actually German. She was born in New York and her family moved to Germany when she was 5 for about 3 years. When she was about 15, her family moved there again for two years then moved back to New York, so she's moved back and forth a lot. When it was time to go to college, she studied abroad for two years in Germany and learned so much about the language and culture that she wanted to become certified to be a German teacher, which is what happened. She lived in Germany for 5 years then decided to be a German teacher in New York to teach German at a high school. She was asked to teach German at the academy and took up the offer.

Personality: Not as serious as most teachers are/should be, she tries to be upbeat and more positive while teaching students. She's patient and tolerant with students and tries to encourage them as much as she can.
