The Listening album cover revealed!

Here's what LIGHTS had to say about the cover: "The album art in its entirety was inspired by The Watchmen + 28 Days Later + Sailormoon. It took about 200 shots to get the right picture with the proper hair positioning for the one used in the cover.

I'm stoked to show you the rest in a couple months!"

The Listening Album Release Date Announced!

LIGHTS' debut album The Listening is will be released in Canada on 9/22 and in the USA on 10/6!

If you haven't already, watch the newest LIGHTS music video for "Saviour".

Saviour EP to be released on iTunes on 9/8!

Hello!

The big news I've been waiting to announce is the release of LIGHTS' Saviour EP on iTunes US and Amazon on Tuesday 9/8! The EP will feature two album tracks from LIGHTS' forthcoming record, "The Listening" and two remixes. The track list:

1. Saviour
2. The Listening
3. Saviour (The Colin Munroe Unsung Mix)
4. Saviour (The Angry Kids FM mix)

Now, to thank you for being patient until 9/8 when the EP will be released in the US, we have arranged for a listening party on Myspace. You will be able to stream the entire EP on Monday 9/7, a full day before its release!

Oh hey!

Alright here's the deal, considering the fact that my record comes out 2 weeks later in America than it does in Canada, I thought I'd give my friends south of the border something to tide you over until October 6.

Enter the "Saviour EP" which is out on iTunes USA today! (Fret not, anyone not from the US, all are streaming on my MySpace as well.)

I'm pretty excited for you all to hear this little quatro of intergalactic goodness. On the EP you'll find the record version of "Saviour," along with two remixes that are dancified and trancified. ALSO included in the EP to sweeten the deal, I released for the first time the title track of my new record, "The Listening." So kick back for 15 minutes and take it in, enjoy!
