I love living in the South because everyone is so hospitable. It's usually a good idea to not ask what you're eating down here, though. xD

Well....... I tried turtle soup but didn't like it, I ate one bite of rabbit, and NO ALLIGATOR! I LOVE crawfish, blue runner red beans, and FISH! Cajun Sparkles was literally in everything I ate! And hot sauce! I ate at Cafe Du Mont? Is that how you spell it? Anyways, the beignets were so GOOD!

I'm don't eat food that's way out there like...fried nutria rat or frog legs. Gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish, catfish, and tabasco are all my favorites, as well as King Cake during Mardi Gras season. I haven't had a beignet in forever, but they're amazing.

Nutria rat?!?! But hey, whatever floats your boat! If someone wants to eat that, it's there right! I'm with you though, that does seem out there! I didn't care for tabasco. The gumbo was phenomenal, and I think it was Crystal hot sauce that I liked! I like Crystal hot sauce and kettle corn popcorn!

The food was so rich though! I didn't care for the French Quarter, BUT there was so many more amazing things to do! I wish I would have or will tour a Plantation! I went to the Chalemette Battlefield!
