The news said it was a 5.8 in North Carolina too haha, but it started in Virginia, that's where the big red square is on the earthquakes gov website

The earthquake in Japan was about 9.1, I think. So if I'm correct, that's over 1,000 times the size of the one that happened now.

Of course, Japan is used to earthquakes. You guys don't get that much earthquakes of significant magnitude.

Yeah east coast doesn't usually get earthquakes- that's the west coast's kind of thing

We don't get earthquakes (yeah we get a small one every few years and people are like omg!!!!! but most people don't feel it so loln), we don't get hurricanes, we don't get tornadoes (again, little ones but they don't count lol) we don't get tidal waves, some places get a bit of flooding but not where I live, we don't have volcanoes.. We don't have anything lol. We get a bit of snow occasionally. S'about it.
