The Handbasket Trio, 12/11! - Postponed 7/11

Initial Itinerary for The Handbasket Trio!

And in comparison to the LONG GoaP trip, this one is fairly short! :lmao: Also, since the MVMCP dates for 2011 obviously haven't been released yet, this may get shuffled around.

December 1, 2011
Arrival day! I'm not sure, but I think this will be a MVMCP night. That being said, if it is, we'll probably have an early flight out. Cherry and I will be flying from Chicago and Molly will be flying from PA, so we'd have to meet up at the airport prior to boarding DME to Pop. It'll be a short trip, so I don't see the point in renting a car. Anyway, if this is a party night, we'll be going to MVMCP after checking in at Pop. Depending on what time we get there, we might grab lunch at Pop, otherwise we'll just wait until dinner. I'm going to try like a mad woman to get a reservation for CRT, at Molly's request.

December 2, 2011
DHS! Of course, rope drop and TSMM. They'd love it, so I want to make sure we get to go on it. We'll have lunch at Sci-Fi, since we're paying for it OOP and it's relatively inexpensive (the CRT dinner will take up the credit we would have otherwise used), and then grab dinner at Backlot later that night. That's the only good CS at DHS, in my opinion.

December 3, 2011
Epcot! We'll grab lunch at Le Cellier and then dinner at Sunshine Seasons. The must do's here are Soarin', Spaceship Earth, and Karamell Kuche. I think I sent Molly a picture of the caramel apple and she just about killed me for it when we went to Great America :lmao:

December 4, 2011
Departure day :( We'll grab breakfast or lunch at Pop, either with a CS credit or paying OOP, and then head to the airport when DME picks us up.

And that's that! Short trip, and I'm sort of hoping we can tack on a day, but, hey, what can you do :)

I could fly out of Chicago ... maybe possibly ... It'd only cost me an extra $100 or so if I took the train and what not ... hmmmm ... it's something to consider. :D

That's entirely up to you  I'm sure you could stay with either me or Cherry (although I think it might be best if we all stayed at Cherry's and hoped Leon gave us a ride). But yeah, it's up to you :) DME will pick us all up either way, I found that out when I was looking into a trip with another friend from another state :lmao:

Are you by chance talking about THIS caramel treat?

Yup, 2 WDW trips and 1 DLR! :lmao: I hope they have a good time! That's no fair that you don't get to go :rotfl: I know how you feel, though, about living through other people's trips :)

Your initial itineraries look great! :thumbsup2 Okay so, my trip is 29 days away and I still haven't sat down and made a really good itinerary...hmm...maybe I need to get on that. :rolleyes1

:lmao: Hey, it could be worse :) You could be down to two days and no itinerary! :lmao: I just like the basic itinerary. I don't want to set everything down, you know?

This afternoon, I was texting with Cherry about rescheduling a get-together we were going to have tomorrow afternoon and at some point in the conversation, she mentioned wanting to have "high tea, hats and all". So I suggested we hit up the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian on our trip. Have any of you guys ever been? I'm not a big fan of tea, but it still sounds like fun, and it'd be an interesting thing to do. Anyone? :lmao:

I've never done it, but I've read several Dining Reviews where they did it and it sounded like fun. I don't think Fran would like it so I've never thought about it. They have all sorts of sandwiches without crusts, but a lot of them don't sound good to me. I'm not into watercress sandwiches or egg salad, there was always something that sounded kinda icky. Check the menu and see if there is anything you like. Personally I would have gone for something with Port! :lmao:

To quote that shiny ball giver "You lush!".
I'm not much of a drinker but Port is something that I'm quite happy to imbibe in. :goodvibes

Yeah, I've read that people who've done it really like it. I'm not sure if I'd really be into it, but it sounds like fun, and it'd be something special for us to do. I'm tempted to suggest we tack on another day, but I need to talk to them first (obviously) and see what they think about that. But yeah, I've checked the menus before, but I'm not sure if I'd like what they serve :lmao:
