This is from the street looking along the road, notice the beautiful job the power company has done of trimming that tree!

Here is the after... also notice the curb cut.. when they built the road they didn't slope it at all and it looked pretty bad

This is a before picture...notice the really hideous scrub pine over the fence, that is actually my neighbors tree but he said we could have it cut down if we wanted..so we did.. I forgot to take an after pic! I will try to grab 1

I like it. I can now see why you needed to clear out some trees. It looks really great now, still secluded but a little more open.

The grove is looking groovy! Really, Mary is right, it opens things up and looks brighter, without losing the privacy.

Were you having trouble with limbs coming down in storms, taking down the power lines?

Hmmmm.....in the second to last pic, looks like a good spot now for lots of monster size hostas......or something.

We weren't worried about it coming down on the powerlines so much as the fact that they had hacked it and it looked hideous, I'll try to find a better picture later...

I showed these pics to DH, and he could see (better than I), that a lot of clean-up had been done.
