We were on the 4th floor of the Bigwheel Bldg and the Goffy Jets were right at the bottom of the stairs from our room. Need less to say DD had a blast, although it was tough at times because it was in sight out our windows all the time! Have Fun! It is a great resort!

I have a question about ME. The brochure says they will take your luggage to your room, is that right? Or is it in the lobby and you have to pick it up? We'll be arriving mid-day and I want to head right over to MK but I don't want to stay out late if we have to lug the suitcases and unpack at 10pm. If it's not delivered to your room, can we still pick up the luggage at 10:30 when Wishes is over and we get back to POP?

Thanks!!!! :teeth:

Big Wheel Bldg is Building 10 in the 70's. And yes, it is right there at the end of that building between the 70's and 60's. I got such a kick out of walking by and watching the little toddlers giggle and squeal as they ran through the jets. They did have to take it out of service for repairs when I was there in late January. Hopefully it will not need such service for a while. Little ones will love it!!

What exit# do I get off from I-4 to get to the PC????

Thanks

Exit 65 onto Osceola parkway & then turn right on Victory Way. Pop Century will be on your right. :goodvibes

The wait is killing me ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

So my sister booked a package for her and her boyfriend at the end of August at Pop Century like I posted a few pages back. I was all set on joining them when I decided to try out to be a Ball Person at the US Open (Tennis tournament held in Flushing Meadows Park, NYC). It takes place starting the last week or so of August until almost the second week of September. This is the time right when they will be going on the trip.

The dilemma is that I won't know for another week if I got accepted for the next round of tryouts :( I definetly would be bummed out if I didn't make it, but on the other hand that means I would get to go to WDW (Not bad right  )

Well .... here's to a really long week of waiting patiently for letter in the mail letting me know if I got a call-back

Are there maps of each park in the lobby of POP so you can look them over before you go? Or do you have to wait and get the maps at the Park the day you go?

THANKS

I just wanted to post to this helpful thread about my stay that I just had at Pop. I stayed in room 1370 (Lady building) I had a accessible room and just as a note it had a refrigerator in it, so I got a free fridge. We were close to the pool which could at times be heard, but it never bothered me. I had originally asked for a 70's building away from the pools on the first floor witha king bed, and ended up with a room in building 1 next to the bowling pin pool on the third floor. But, I loved the room and actually REALLY enjoyed the "roll in"shower I thought that it was really cool. Plus as abonus we had that fridge. Mouse keeping was AWESOME one day we got two birds and a nice toothbrush holder which were later joined by a dog! Most rooms had a lovely display in the windows coutesy of housekeeping. I loved Pop! I would stay there again. I especially enjoyed the bus service, I never really had to wait!

yes they give you a map at check in and show you where you are and circle your room

DISUNC:

To open the donut box tear the small perforated strip off of the front of the box. Take a knife and detach both perforation on both sides. Then box opens like a charm.

When you check in they will give you a folder with all the park maps in it. They also have them on the Guest Services counter in case you need more.

LOL! Thanks

From looking at the POP resort layout , is Epcot to the right or the left of POP. I am hoping to stay in the 50s, bldg. 2 , 4th floor but not sure what end of this building I should be in to see the fireworks? Is it to the far right end or the far left end (closer to the 60s section) according to the POP resort layout.

Any info. on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Suzy V.

Thought I'd make you jealous - I'll be there tomorrow - yippee!
