Thanks for spelling Fooseball correctly for me! :teeth: I knew it did not look right but I could not figure it out! :rotfl:

I sounds like you had a room exactly where we want to be! I am so excited. I can hardly wait to get there!

I actually wasn't sure which way was right. I typed it, deleted it, typed it again, and I thought there was an E, but I wasn't positive ;) Our room WAS amazing! It's a great section to be in. Have a fun trip :)

Does anyone know what time they start serving lunch at Everything POP? Thanks!

janey77 - You might want to consider sending a package to the resort with all your baby items you need for your vacation (bottled water, formula, juice, food, diapers, etc.). It would beat packing them or paying alot for these items. Lots of people do this every day at Disney resorts. Send your package with the following info.: Disney resort's name, address, your name, dates/confirmation # on the package. When you check in, ask if they have your package. Send it with enough time to get there before you do. Have a great time.

:yay:

Before we left last trip, I ordered lots of basics from an internet grocery store (I believe it was wegoshop) and it saved me the hassle. The cost was the same as it usually is, they added a delivery charge that was cheaper than shipping would have been. I got bottled water, wipes, bananas, etc, etc. I brought diapers and formula, and used that space for souvenirs on the way back. Have fun!!! :cool1:

I asked this a while ago (either on this board or somewhere else--I can't remember) and I'm still not sure when lunch starts. I *think* lunch *might* start at 11:00. Does anyone know?

Sorry, I don't know when the hot lunch starts. I would think it is between 10:30-11 am. I checked the POP information given to us at check-in last year and the hours aren't mentioned anyway.
If you can't wait until it starts, there are sandwiches, salads, fruit, chips, etc available in the food court area as well.

Thank you, Terry and Kelly, for your replies. I was thinking, too, 11am would be about right. I should be able to wait that long :teeth: .

I don't remember the exact times either, but I'm thinking that the different stations switched over to lunch on a staggered schedule - just like they close for the day.

I saw on another thread that they are making part of the 50's and part of the 70's bldgs preferred. I heard it started may 1. Has anyone heard this. Also at ASM dalmations and toy story are now peferred.

I hadn't heard this, but looked up the thread you mentioned.

We really enjoyed where we were in the 50's, and hoped to be in the same area on our next trips. Since it was closer that some of the 60's, I'm assuming it will be considered preferred now.

If I remember right it was around 10:30am. But that was the hours last September also. :wave2:

Looking at the map, I wonder if it's 70s B and 50s A, as those are closest to Everything Pop? We'll have to keep an eye out for more information about the specifics of the preferred room locations.

This might make the 80s and 90s sections a bit more crowded.

Never been to Pop. Going 1st time in June. What's 70's B? Is it the "Mickey Phone" or "Big Wheel" building or the closest end of both builidngs to the Classic Hall? We requested, when booking, the 70's building.

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

What I've heard is SOME rooms in the 50s, 60s and 70s buildings are now designated as "preferred" (I guess based on their proximity to Classic Hall/bus stop/maybe pools?), while SOME rooms in all six buildings are now designated as "standard" and all the rooms in the 80s and 90s will remain "standard".

There is a map of Pop on the first page of this thread.

Here is another map:

http://haysllc.com/Disneyworld/Resorts/PopCentury/index_files/v3_document.htm

It will be interesting to find out which rooms/sections are preferred. I requested a standard room in 50s or 70s.

Edited to say that the above web site will take you to a site that has a lot of Pop photos. You have to scroll down and select the map page if you'd like to see the map.

That would be perfect. I'm hoping that time is still right. We were wanting to have lunch before we head out to the airport. Thank you for your reply. :)

The preferred sections have been expanded to include some of the 70's and 50's! :furious: Darn it!

We wanted a room with a view of the fooseball courts and now to get that we are going to have to pay more.

Disney said I should call my AAA TA and see if they can put the request on our reservation and maybe something magical will happen. :) That would be great but if we end up on the backside of no where I am going to be so disappointed.

The Disney CM I talked to did not even know about the change until I told her and she looked it up.

Just when you think you got it all figured out they change something! :confused3

You know there are refrigerator cases at Everything Pop with already-prepared foods like sandwiches, salads and desserts, right?

Did the CM say that all rooms facing the fooseball courts are now preferred?

She was not sure what rooms would be preferred. She said that they had not been told yet but that the information on her computer said that "some" 70's and 50's are now preferred.

It left me confused!
