Classic Concoctions was open when we were there last Sept but only at night. I'm not sure what time they open exactly but I'm sure it was after 5pm.

Finally booked my room at the POP. We will be there from 7-27 to 8-3 :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I am staying here in May and I love this thread. I have learned so much just from here it's great.

I noticed that check-in says 4pm, has anyone gotten there around 1pm and had there room ready. I want to surprise the kids with mickey ears but not sure about at checkin or in the room.

We arrived around 1 last summer and the room was ready but it was on a Tuesday. Not sure if that made a difference.

I just love this thread. We stayed at Pop Century for the first time last year and it is now my favorite "value resort". This thread provided me so many tidbits about the resort. We have now been 4 times since Oct 07 and planning another quick stay after our Disney Cruise.

I'm not sure if this is the right place. But we're staying at the Pop for the first time next week and have a 9am Norway Princess Breakfast ressie. What time would you all reccomend getting to the bus stop?

Thanks!

Last year we got there about 11 and our room wasn't ready until about 245. I think they made us wait because we were on their nerves calling from the pool every 15 minutes!!:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

6 weeks and 3 days...(ok, 2 days and about 4 hours until we leave for the airport! Not that I'm counting...):yay:

Same with us! We walked around, ate at the food court, shopped at the store, and KEPT calling to see if our room was ready. Finally close to 3 it was :lmao:

Hi I managed to book our holiday at pop last week for 4 weeks time, end april - 11th May, as so looking forward to it now ive read this site, regarding connecting rooms, can you only get this option if more than 4 of you or not, do you get one double in one room and another in a connecting room, just that I think we have 2 doubles in one room that is a preferred room, just that hubby snores quite badly and connecting would be a little more silent for kids, has anyone had to pay extra for connecting rooms? Thanks Karen

Hi everyone....:goodvibes
We just booked for our first stay at POP....June 26-July 4 :woohoo:
We will be celebrating my son's 10th birthday and my 30-something birthday too! We are way too excited!

Karen,

If you booked two standard rooms you will get two double beds in each room. If you would like connecting rooms you should have asked for that when you made your reservation. If you didn't call them back and ask to add the request to your reservation. You also might want to try to book connecting rooms with a one King for you and DH and then you can put the kiddos in the connecting room with the two doubles.
You don't have to pay extra for connecting rooms, however they aren't guaranteed either. You simply request them and then hope for the best.

My family will be going to pop Aug. 3 - Aug. 7. It will be my birthday, our anniversary and my husbands birthday. I heard POP has cakes in the food area. Has anyone every gotten these?

It is a short bus ride to Epcot, maybe 10 minutes. You would enter from the main gates and walk through to Norway. If you were at hte bus stop at 8, you should have more than enough time.

anyone had a late check out at pop?

We did on our first stay and had no problem. I think we were given to about 1 or 1:30.

I know everything you read here says 4 is check in time, but all my documents said 3 is. I know one day around noon some poeple had just arived and were at the pool with their kids and our DD was playing with their little girl. The mom said that they told the front desk they needed a room ASAP becuase their DD needed a nap and was about to have a meltdown and got one shortly after they arrived.

For those of you that had to wait for your room, where did you leave your bags?

Last time we stayed at Pop we used ME and our luggage was delivered to the room at some point during the day. This year we'll be using a car service. I know at POFQ, where we've stayed the last 2 years, someone from luggage services met us as soon as we got out of the car to hold our bags. If I recall correctly, Pop doesn't have the same type of luggage service department. We're arriving early so I'm sure our room won't be ready so I just want to be prepared for what to do with our stuff. :)

Does anyone know if either Petals Pool bar or Classic Concoctions serves draft beer?
