HELP!! I am getting ready to ship our box down and neither UPS nor USPS are recognizing the address for Pop, 1050 Century Dr. Has anyone shipped a box down before, with no problems? Shipping it today gets the box there on Tuesday, and we arrive on Wednesday. So i don't want any problems!

The address shown on allearsnet is 1050 Century Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830. I remember trying to put in an address for Walt Disney World on map quest and it changed it to Orlanda, Florida. Go figure?

The question of room refrigerators often comes up so let me throw in our most recent experience from this January. We requested a king room which came with a wheelchair accessible shower. We also noticed that the TV cabinet/dresser contained a refrigerator. Since we brought a small frig I didn't want to be charged for the frig so I called the front desk. They assured me that the frig could stay in the room since it was a special needs room and that I wouldn't be charged for it. Can't guarantee that but that's what happened to us.

No couches. The max. occupancy for a King is 2, plus an infant in a pack and play.

The last time I shipped a box to a Disney Resort, I simply called the resort direct and asked them at the front desk what the appropriate address would be...amazingly, it was far different than any of the addresses I found on line for POR This would ensure that you do not have any major mix-ups and your box ends up who knows where. Have fun!!

I have heard not to use UPS or USPS. I don't remember the exact reason

Your requests should have been noted on your ressie when you made it. You can call at anytime and add them. I would do it ASAP so when the room assigner blocks out your room they have it noted.

Sorry to have a good laugh over your serious question, but picking up packages at POP's front desk has been such a fiasco for us...to the point that it's just become a family joke. We eventually get everything, but it may take several attempts. Sometimes we'd get a voice mail that a package was waiting for us to pick up. We'd go down to get it, but no one could find it. When I'd explain that I got a message that the package was here, the CM just looked baffled and didn't know who could have called or where the package was being held. This went on for 3 days! It's never really caused us a problem, but then again - as much as I love POP - I just would not trust them to deliver anything valuable or that I really needed right away. I did ship water once and had no problems. Just the mail and smaller packages that got lost in the shuffle.

I'm actually very pleased to find out that the lemonade is the Minute Maid Light kind! I don't drink soda, but when I want some thing besides water, a "diet" option is nice. (Helps compensate for Mickey bars!) I've stayed at value twice and have never bought the refillable mug, but I think that I might go for it this trip! Only 18 days until I'm at Pop!

I am excited about this also. I love having a caffiene free, sugar free option besides water.

It would help if you fax it to them about 2 or 3 days before you arrive.

I have always used USPS to mail packages toPOP and had no problem neither have I had to go back for a package they always found it1 I was in a Swap and had no trouble at luggage either!! I guess I am very fortunate!I honestly don't think I'd want to stay at any other Resort I just feel so comfotable at POP !!
