Can someone tell me how many outlets there are in the POP rooms? Thanks so much!

:cheer2:

Does anyone have recomendation for what building would be the best view of the lake or would someone recomend other view. I know I would like to request the 4th floor.

I loved the Jukebox building in the 50's. I was on 4th floor and could look out my window and see fireworks from Fantasmic. If I walked out the door and to the end of the hallway, I could see fireworks from Epcot AND in the distance, Wishes from MK. Very, very :thumbsup2

I no clue for sure, but I would say maybe 4or 5? You could always bring a sruge protector strip thing for more plug space.;)

LOL. I have to tell you when I first read this question, I was thinking outlet stores. I thought... I never knew there were ANY outlets at POP. :rotfl2: Just goes to show you where my mind is today.

DH says he thinks there are three. There is one by the bathroom sink, one by the small table and window and one between the beds for a total of "6" places to plug things in. One by the bed might be in use by the clock/radio. I would highly suggest taking a surge protector also. If you have cameras, cell phones, video cams and laptops etc... you will certainly need it.

Have fun!!

There's also one on the wall next to the bed furthest from the door. We set up the ironing board and used it as our charging station.

That's a really good idea. We certainly never thought of that one before. It sure is nice to be able to come to this thread to get lots of ideas. I think we might have to do that next time. I know the table is pretty tiny and when you start putting too much on it... it gets crowded pretty quickly. Thanks!

At the Pop now there are 6 outlets if you count the one by the sink and the one behind the tvstand/ dresser.

Does anyone know what are the dimensions of the safe in the rooms at Pop? I'm trying to figure out if the door/opening will be large enough for me to place my laptop inside. Thanks in advance!

We took our laptop last year and it fit fine. I don't know the dimensions but I think it will fit without any problems.

Great idea for the surge protector!

(I like the "outlet" idea--maybe we can pitch that to the Disney execs to put in the Legendary Years area!!)

THANK YOU so much to everyone on these boards!! I have found so many answers to questions and written down so many ideas from all of you. I have friends who come to me asking about Disney-my husband and I have been twice before. I just THOUGHT I "knew it all"!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Now I am in need since I have a three year old ALL boy who we are taking for the first time in September. I would welcome any ideas you have for fun stuff at the POP to do with him mid day if he does not nap. We are planning a break from the parks during the hot part of the day.

My family and I are going to the POP July 15 thru 22  and we have a standard room but after reading some posts, I am thinking we may want to get a preferred. Is the preferred room worth the extra cash?:

Our DS loved the Goofy water jets that are near the 60's building. We stopped by on our way home from dinner our first night and were the for over an hour...his favorite thing about Pop!

I just got back from WDW and POP yesterday. I took my Dell lap top, and it fit just fine.

Blessings,
Winnie

Only if you want to be near the main building. We had a preferred room this past week. It was nice to be close. But we were also close to the dippy pool. And trust me, people did not honor the quiet times of the pool. 10 PM - midnight. Good thing, the last few nights we were so tired, it didn't matter much. And I'm a light sleeper. But the last night I did call the front desk, because at 11:30PM a child was letting out a piercing SCREAM every 5 seconds. I had enough and made the call. Not sure what transpired, but in less than 5 minutes, it's stopped.

So you may wanna consider this. We will be back the end of the month, and we are getting a standard.

Blessings,
Winnie
