Does POP supply Shampoo? Conditioner? Bar Soap? Lotion? Mouthwash? If yes, is it decent?

shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap yes.. they have little mickeys on them.. i took some home as a souvnir, i cant remember lotion or mouthwash though

me and my sister will be taking our 2nd trip to the POp Century next year(2012). and we cant wait!! going back for the cheesecake is reason enough to go back!! lol.. last year when i went with my cousin, my sis made me bring back a tie-dye cheesecake for her.. lol... we were gonna try the caribbean beach resort this year, but then thought about it.. we loved the pop so much and had so much fun.. its probably the resort that fits our personalities best. we absolutely love waking up in the middle of te night taking a walk and having some quiet time swimming.. nice and relaxing..​

Welcome back to the pop thread. We are staying at CBR this year but I think next year we will be back at pop. We love it there. But figured we would give CBR a try it is the only moderate we haven't stayed at. I'm trying to keep a open mind about CBR and hope we don't miss pop.

That's what we did - we brought our own soaps, and then each day we would stash the soaps and shampoos that were left for us, and took them home as souvenirs.

No lotion, no mouthwash.

The shampoo is a combination shampoo/conditioner. The bar soap is the same soap in two sizes, bath and facial.

I like the shampoo at the values, but some people say it's no good. The soap and shampoo is made by H20, who makes all the bath products for the resorts and the cruise line.

same here. i've been there before and with the heat and the cholrine from the pools, your hair and skin need extra moisture. So i bought stuff that had the extra mostiure in it and kept the resort ones..its a nice little gift, just like the animal towels they leave for us....


cute story about the towel animals. my sister works at hotels in housekeeping, and she asked our mousekeeper if she could show her how she did it, but if she couldnt show us it was alright. Our Mousekeeper came in our room and made us two extras. It was neat watching her do that.

We are just back. We didn't make any room requests and were assigned in the 90's section, in building 9, room 9270. We had connecting rooms. We had a great time and the kids loved it. We swam everyday and didn't find the pools to be too crowded. On Saturday there was a DJ playing all the dance songs and there was movie night that same night. I don't remember what was playing.

I didn't find it hot and I think that is because here in Maryland, we have had so many 100 degree days. It was hot but not unbearable.

The resort didn't seem that crowded either. The food court was not that busy during the times we were there. We did counter service this trip so we were in the food court alot. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty.

When we arrived at Pop at 9:30 am and the room was ready and we had ordered a few groceries from garden grocery and that was waiting for us at the resort. Luggage and groceries were delivered by 10:30 or so.

Oooohhhhh a DJ and movie?! This must be new, we've been to pop many times and never saw that. Are these perm entertainment staples? My kids (and me) would love to hang poolside with some tunes!

From what I have heard they are trying this out at most resorts now. All 3 of the all starts have had this since MAy. POFQ and POR just started this summer.

I hope they will have that on the Saturday night of the Wine and Dine Half Marathon(Oct 1). My family is staying behind at the resort while I go for the race. It would be nice to know that they will have some fun things to do while I"m gone.

Sounds like a great trip, tammy! I was curious if you requested connecting rooms when you booked your package? We will be staying at Pop Labor Day weekend with our 16yo daughter and three of her 16yo friends and asked for connecting rooms. Even though the reservation confirmation states they are "guaranteed," the majority of people on the boards say nothing is guaranteed. Did you call before you arrived to make sure that request was noted on your reservation or did you just wait until you checked in to reiterate the request?
