Ok here it is 60's,70's,80's and 90's done. Working on the 50's from the last report.

So it's safe to say the refurbs will be done by December, right?


One other question - we'll be going down with a 3 year old and a 1 year old...don't really want to pay for a preferred room. But I love the idea of being near those Goofy Water Jets, I think the kids would love them. Is the 70's building ALL preferred?

Ok here it is 60's,70's,80's and 90's done. Working on the 50's from the last report.

The 60's are NOT done. We checked out a couple of days ago and we didn't see any work being done on building 4 where we were. Although we weren't around much. I was really numbed b/c we wanted connecting rooms in the 70's or refurbished room. I always wanted to stay in the 60's but not in an old room when there are beautiful rooms right next door. I also wanted a new room b/ we probably won't be back. The rooms are just too small. I do like the Pop. We don't like the tiny beds, crappy towels and tiny rooms. The arcade is awesome and so is w everything pop. I wouldn't want to stay in the 60's again either. We drive everywhere and we were also unfortunate enoughto be in the wing part of building 4 lake side vround floor. We didn't even get a decent view. So very mixed thoughts on our 3rd trip to the pop.

So sorry to hear the bad news. I know requests are not guaranteed, but I think it's strange they stuck you in an old room when all the other buildings are refurbished. Was this a last minute vacation? Did you try to complain or get your room moved to a refurbished section?

I ws thinking the same thing. Maybe just ask for a new room. For us it doesn't have to be a certain section but I would like a new room. But it wouldn't bother me if I got a old room either.

Does anyone know if the TVs at Pop (new or old) have A/V inputs? We are trying to figure out what we can bring so that our kids can watch their movies on the TV vs. laptop.

I don't see why not. Plenty of parents order food for their kids while they remain at the table. Who's to say that's not what you're doing?

We were in the same location, 3rd floor. With the poor view there, plus the distance from parking, it really isn't the best. I do agree with you on that. Did you ask the CM for something else when you didn't get your request? If you really didn't like your room so much that it made you want to never return, I really would have inquired about something more fitting. Try to remember the good over the bad and use it to make your next WDW trip that much better! Hope the rest of your trip was fun!

I just picked some up today!!! At my Target, they were all $2.50, no matter what size. But, still totally worth it, I hope.

I think building 5 is done. But you may want to see if you can find the refurb thread and check it out. I beleive they are doing work on one of the 50's building right now.

Bldg 5 is a 60' bldg - thought I read 60's had not been done yet? 50's were due to be done last - those would be bldgs 1, 2 & 3.

Bdoyledimou reported that he is in the 50's building 3 and his room was refurbed. And they were working on the lower floors. He said the paint was still wet when he checked in.

Fabulous news! Thanks....have not been around the thread as often as usual, but will be here everyday beginning soon and will be checking with CM's I know at POP about refurbs and whatever else is going on...but nothing is better than guest reports!
