Just back from POP !!! I love it there !! We were put in the 50's connecting to begin with but switched to the 60's bldg 5 !! It was standard rooms but soooo close to prefered we were happy !!!The foodcourt is crazy in the mornings but just fine other times ! We found it better to either wait for breakfast or eat in the park or in the rooms !! The pools were warm and the kids spent alot of time in them!! No problems with the buses !!The only complaint with them is the distance at MK to Pop buses !! They have changed mugs from when I was there in May !!Online check in is great noproblems at all!!Also SWA now has airline check in for bags! This was the first time I knew it did !! Any questions I will be glad to help!!!

We enjoy the 50's more than the 60's...( the whole Lady and Tramp thing ) - may I ask which 50's bldg you were in before you changed and if the rooms were in good shape? Last summer we were in the 60's bldg 5, our room was in terrible shape, but have read that rooms were being painted throughout the resort (fingers crossed). This trip we requested the 50's again.

We were at POP the first week of June and the Southwest program was being tested then. We got to use it and it worked great! I'm glad that it seems to be sticking around!

I am going to be staying at Pop for the first time. I am really excited. I have a perferred room booked, but I am a smoker and was wondering if anyone knew of the closest bldg/room to the nearest outside smoking area. I wanted to put a request on my reservation and was just wondering if anyone knew Thanks

I know this has been asked before so please forgive me... can a laptop fit into the safe at pop? I'm talking a 15.4 inch screen one? Also when I pay for internet.. it's not wireless ? I mean I need to bring a cord that goes from the wall to the laptop?

Hi Jenseib!

Just got back from PoP yesterday! We were there in May and the mugs had a red design (charachters etc) on the top half and then were more tapered at the bottom half, and the bottom half was just white. Now, the mugs have the same red design, but the design goes all the way to the bottom of the mug. Hope this helps, as i am not vert good at describing things! Sorry I don't have a pic.

When we did this (with some other airline - can't remember which) they will give you a phone to use and you have to call an airline phone number and give the airline you credit card number for the fee of your bags.

Hi!

Internet is not wireless... but they do provide a cord. You will find the cord hanging on a coat hanger in your room. Regarding whether or not the laptop will fit in the safe - yours might as it sounds like it is a smaller one - but you would have to stand it up on its side. The safe is only about 3 inches deep but is fairly tall.

Hi, wondering since last time we were down @ the world SWA didn't have bag pickup or whatever it's called. Wondering how it works and what is the benefit. I will be keeping our clothes in the suitcases and using them suitecase at a time (like keep 4 days worth of clothes in each bag for each one of us so I don't have to worry about weighing them again down there)
