I just did my online check in and had a question....I had requested connecting rooms with my DD19 when I made the reservations, and the request showed on my online check in today. Should I also fax a request for connecting rooms? I honestly don't care which building, floor etc we end up in; I just want the connecting rooms. Anyone else have luck getting connecting rooms when using online check in?

2 weeks from today I will be home again :cool1:

I see that there will be alot of us there the same time, Hope to meet some of you all.
I will be the one in a scooter, short brown hair and I wear glasses.
I am getting so excited, I have even started to pack.:goodvibes

We just got back from our trip to All Star Sports, and BOY did I miss Pop. Sniff.
We had to change our trip at the last minute, so we couldn't get into Pop. But never again if I can help it!

We had a great location at Sports, but it was full of teenage sports teams, and VERY noisy.
DH and I both agreed Pop is our fav. :wizard:

Im am getting so excited! Seems like it is taking so long! I have been waiting for a Dole whip float for AT LEAST 6 months! Our younger two daughters have no idea but the oldest one has a signature on her cell phone that she changes everyday like a countdown ticker. She gets her homework today for the week we are gone and she is actually excited to do it! Ok. Have a good day everyone. I love staying at POP!!!:woohoo:

Hi everyone - we were at Pop a few weeks ago and I gave a quick summary here when we got back. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm doing a pretty extensive trip report, which does have lot of pictures from Pop in it. If you're interested in reading the entire report, here's the link:

Pop Trip Report

Otherwise, if you'd just like to start with my Day 5 (Part 1), this one has the afternoon (you can skip through all the MK morning stuff), when we walked around and took a lot of pics at Pop.

Trip Report Day 5

Pretty much every day has some pics from Pop, but that post has the most. I'm still not done with the trip report - just 2 more days to go! Hope anyone interested enjoys it!

Would it be crazy to not even attempt to request a room location for our upcoming trip? I haven't been able to come up with a preference yet besides "upper floor." And even that I'm not totally tied to. Should I just wing it?

I would just wing it. We did not make room requests (I never do unless we are at SSR, then I request Congress Park) and were very pleased with our location last time at Pop.

I would just wing it too...in fact we are! My only request for this trip is connecting rooms. It makes no difference to me which floor, which building, which view we get. I've stayed at Pop twice and never requested a location and we have been pleased with both locations given to us. The first time we were in the 80's building 9 (super close to the bus stop) and the second time we were in the 50's building 1.

Today marks the start of my 10 day countdown. Hurray!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We will be at the Pop for 7 nights. We're renting a car, so I'm hoping to be in a building near the parking lot. 90's would be perfect. I'm also hoping to get a room with a king bed. Can't wait!!!

Thanks to both of you! I was having a moment of wishy washy-ness. My trip in August I was at CSR and wound up allllll the way back in the Ranchos (furthest from the main building) and it was such a hike. And I did put a room request in there and it wasn't granted...because it's "just a request" of course. So this time I don't really care and I'm wondering if that's a mistake  I'm sure we'll be fine though!!

I have been reading that there is now going to be a delivery fee at all the resorts. Has anyone had an experience with this at Pop? Also FYI Costco won't deliver water anymore myself and a lot of others have had our orders canceled. I will now have to order from Staples but if there is a delivery fee on top of shipping I don't know if it will be worth it.

Thanks

That is really too bad about Costco.
Re: Pop - I had 2 cases of water delivered there last January without having to pay a fee.

9 days until we leave for the Pop!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana::cool1::banana::cool1::woohoo
(Better do some :laundy: when I get home from work!)

So I just called Pop about delivery fee and I was told that they are not charging one at this time. so I am going to order my water a hope the cm I get when I check in doesn't charge me.:thumbsup2

Hi - I hear they have hairdryers in the rooms - are they much good?

I mean are they like the ones that take 3 hours to blow your hair semi-dry and stand no hope of being able to get a nice smooth finish (ladies will know what I mean), or are they good ones that will really do the business?

I don't want to have to buy one if don't have to (we are on different voltage over here) but if I have to I have to, if you know what I mean.

Many thanks.

To be blunt they really suck. I didn't bring my own the first year and totally regretted it the whole time and I wasn't even doing much styling, just trying to fluff dry and it took for ever.

I could be wrong, but I think there is a difference between adjoinning rooms and connecting rooms and I think the ones with a door between them is adjoining. Someone should be able to clarify that or it might be on the first page.

How much do they charge when they charge you a fee?
