I have been excited since day one. It has been a tough year and a vacation at disney is just what we need!!!

Ditto for us. We made our countdown cal back when it said 198 days to go. That was a LOT of Mickey heads to cut out . Now we're down to 40 days Thank the heavens . We so need this vacation. I think I aged 20 years for this one year.

Here's hoping we all have great trips and we meet some fellow Dissers!

I have 23 days!!! I am starting to really get excited to go.
I will have so many pictures as I am taking my 2 yr old daughter for her first trip. I can't wait to see the look on my sons face when we wake him up and tell him we are having dinner at Disney World.

I feel you. We still have 40 days and I feel like jumping out of my skin I'm so excited.
Have a great trip. Be sure to video the surprise. It's our favorite part to watch on our videos. It truely is "priceless"!

6 days! I sent my fax today. I've always sent my fax on the Friday before 4pm that comes before my trip. I've always gotten my requests, so here's hoping this time is the same.

OK I need some help. I have not stayed on property in 34 years, I was 6. I have never seen Pop nd am not sure how this hotels works. Do they have elevators? It looks like the doors are out side is that right? I have booked perferred, what would I wnat to request in my fax I send down, I know I want bottom floor but I donot think I want a pool to be right there(DD4 who will be 5 when we go has aspebergers(autism) and I fear the pool with her), any help would be great

Hi, I would suggest calling Disney Resort Special Needs asap - have your reservation number handy and explain the situation - since many preferred rooms are near the pool, they can be sure you get a preferred room (which means location only) on the 1st floor, opposite side of the pool.

They are there to help with medical needs: Special Resort Needs: 407-939-7807 #1.

OK I have officially hit panic mode-I have made no building requests yet, still need 4 costumes for MNSSHP, and at least one addl piece of camera equipment (if I behave and only order the lens and not a full upgrade)-I have bought no new shirts for this trip yet and all the sudden the clock is moving faster...

So what did you request? I sent my fax Thursday at like 8:15am! We arrive Monday! I requested 60's groundfloor Poolview because DD just had ACL Reconstruction surgery a few months back she is still in the therapy process of healing it takes a year. And this will be our first trip and long days and nights of walking since so I would like it to be very stress free and worry free while we at the resort and swimming is part of her therapy so that would be great! We have a preferred room! I'm excited 2 more days! Today flew bye so if Sat and Sun do like they normally do I will be set!

Awesome. I will be the single mom with 2 kids. My DH is staying home with our oldest. I am taking my 2 yr old daughter and my 10 yr old son. This will be a first trip for dd and a surprise trip for ds. I can't wait!!!
