I will do the online check-in too! In May 1, 2009! The Sanchez Family are very excited to go!

Was that my trip report? LOL! Because I posted that same thing. I have heard others have gotten not a seperate line now. Not sure if it is constantly happening or not now though. I really don't think that it is really a whole lot faster.
At this point and time, I don't think it is for us.

It may have been your trip report, I skim through alot of them late at night.:surfweb: I'm trying to be less of a lurker now.

When We checked in on March 20th, there was a separate line. There wasn't anyone in it, though, so it was pretty easy to miss.

Oh, thanks!:thumbsup2

Here's a map that shows which rooms connect...rooms facing the Hippy Dippy Pool in bldg 4 will be rooms 1 thru 12, in bldg 5 rooms 61 thru 72. (Room 5 in bldg 4 and rooms 67 & 70 will be King HC rooms). Best to request connecting rooms and bldg number, rather than room numbers. No more than three requests. :thumbsup2

Hope this helps!! :goodvibes

OOPS! We must have been posting at the same time..this computer is soo pokey today!!

Looking foward to staying here, gonna book my trip tomorrow! Gonna be going from October 2nd through the 7th. Luckily enough we just are gonna make it to receive the free dining throughout our trip. We lucked out with that. That saves us a bunch of money! Any building we should request??? We have the standard room and not the preferred room. Also are all the King rooms handicapped or just some? Thanks.

Hi everyone!:goodvibes: Just wanted to jump in. We are chcking into POP 1st time May 21st. This thread has been soooo much help!:worship:I am getting more excited every day!:yay::cheer2:

Just some of the King rooms are handicapped. Other than that, I can't help you - I haven't stayed at POP before.

Hi! I really enjoy the pool room too! In September I stayed in the 50's building about two rooms off the stairs closest to the main building it was soooo quiet.
I stayed in ASMu last summer ground floor, pool view, it's what I requested and it was a NIGHTMARE :scared1::scared1::scared1:! So very very loud into the wee hours of the night.. I could not sleep. I was actually doing the happy dance the one night it poured rain on our vacation because all pool side activities were cancelled an no one swam late at night.

So after my long rant.. sorry!:goodvibes I do really enjoy the room's proximity to the pool but don't like the noise.. how was the noise level in the 50's buildings poolside? Do they blast music at that pool like they do at the 60's pool? No night time activities there right? Last few times I stayed in the 50's I was either on the back of the building or on the 4th floor during off season so I don't remember. Any help would be soooooo appreciated since this is where I would like to request my room for this summer. thanks! :goodvibes

I've only stayed 60's ppolside so far. I just plan to someday try 50's. We love the 60's though. We rarely heard much noise. This year more than last, but still not too bad.

I'm worried about crowds:crowded: Will be there May 21st -28th.Memorial Day I know.:scared: We were there Thanksgiving week 2008 had a fabulous time!:thumbsup2 Does everone think this time of year is more crowded? About the same?

We've stayed in the 50's 4 times and 60's once. We had a poolside room once in bldg 2, 4th floor, did not hear anything. Our room in bldg 5, 60's 4th floor poolside, we could hear the kids, but it wasn't bad.

Our friends had a 50's, bldg 3, 3rd floor room poolside twice and they found it quite loud.

Happy planning!!! :goodvibes

Well I did the online reservation today for May 2nd for a week...we decided we didnt care where the room was so all we requested was a pack and play for the baby. We had no trouble with it at all and got the confirmation email..I was all set today or so I thought...flight tickets, packing list, rental car booked, hotel confirmed, disney and universal tickets bought..I even came under...yes under budget $200...I thought wow!!! and then it dawned on me....THE DOGS!! :scared1: I forget about my other babies!!!...I had to call and get them booked in to the pet resort..they are costing $95 a night for all three...I would be cheaper getting them a room at the Hilton!..then come to find out they are all due their shots and bordatella.....sigh...anyhoo..Im now $600 over budget...oh well...some things dont change..hubby will not be surprised in the least when I tell him. C'est la vie!

Just got back from our first stay at Pop...we loved it!!! It was fun, colorful and high energy. Very Disney! We stayed in bldg 5, ground floor of the 60's facing the courtyard on the back side of the Goofy fountains. Loved being close to everything, never had any trouble with noise. Although we were pretty tired at the end of the day so may not have noticed noise any way! Busses were great, only wait we had was one night coming back from DTD. We had just missed a bus, next one came in less than 15 minutes but it filled completely, then they stacked another bus right next to it and filled that one too.
They took out the frozen coke machine our second day there, and it never returned:sad1: We still got plenty of use out of our mugs though! My only complaint was the coffee, ugh!! It was dreadful! I had heard this and thought I could make do, but by the end of the week I really wanted REAL coffee. My solution was to buy a shot of espresso at the food court and pour it in my coffee to make it palatable. Next time I would definitely bring my own pot!! Other than that it was great. I would love staying there again and recommend it to anybody!

So glad you enjoyed your POP stay!! Too bad about the frozen coke...lots of guests will be disappointed. :sad1: We don't drink it, but it is very, very popular. ::yes::

Sounds like a great room location (last summer we were in the same bldg, 4th floor pool side and it was fun & very convenient).

Welcome back and thanks so much for posting!! :goodvibes

(p.s. Did you make any room requests on your reservation?)

Yes, anyone else going soon - PLEASE let us know if the frozen coke machines are back or gone permanently!
