IS there a microwave? I'm glad to know we can get milk (once we run out of what we bring from home!) at POP, even though it will cost us an arm and a leg!:lmao: We GO through some milk at our house!

Yes there is a microwave. I've even seen people bringing there own popcorn to pop. (They also sell microwave popcorn there)

Do you know where it is? I wasn't paying attention last trip, but this trip I'll have a 13 mo. old and will need to warm some of his food up that we bring from home.

If I am remembering correctly it is on one of the sides of the beverage stations closest to the cashiers. I think.

I'm confused about what i said before! I was thinking of the new building that they are making next to POP Century! That is i what i said before!

Yeah! That i meant to say! and Thanks! I love POP!

the buildings across the lake are old...they stopped contruction on that side of Pop Century after 9/11 due to decreasing tourism. Maybe someday they will complete those buildings.

Q: So If I have a preferred and wanted building #1(Lady) Lower Level(non-connecting Room) . would be 1112 or 1113, Right??. Please let me know thank you.

our family like to stay in the 70's and 80's! But! 70's or the 80's are Standard room or a Preferred Room!

Any room that starts with the number "1" will be in Building 1. All of Pop's room numbering works like this:

First digit = building number
Second digit = floor
Third and fourth digits = actual room number

So using one number you gave as an example, room #1112 would be in Building 1 (which I believe is Lady), first floor and room #12.

I don't believe that any one building at Pop has all preferred rooms.

Check the first page of this thread. There's a map that shows where the preferred rooms are.

Not exactly sure what you are asking jeanylaser. But I reported some sort of rehab/remodel that will take place at POP later this year.

Upon checking out and leaving our room on Feb 11, we ran into a CM from Facilities. At the time, they were on our floor switching out new AC filters from what I could tell. But he got chatty with us. First talking about the unusually cold weather Orlando was having and then later he spoke about how the current POP would be getting a new remodel/facelift later in the year. He offered no details except to say some new furniture might be involved....maybe new bedspreads. Then he went on to tell me they would probably resume construction of the Legendary Years across the lake in 18+ months. His words to me were : I know there is mention of making it a DVC.
(PS : I just wish they'd put more comfortable mattresses in there)

So that's all I know.....could be just whisper down the lane rumor......but if the current POP does get a makeover later this year, then this CM I spoke with last month was right on about it.

Pikester.....I remember it this way as well as far as the location of the microwave.

To my knowledge jeanylaser, no 80's rooms are preferred. I wouldn't consider them that at least.
I thought all preferred were in 50's, 60's and 70's. I would never pay preferred rate for a room in the 80's.
