We are making our 2nd trip to Pop in a few weeks with my BFF Garmin. Last time we couldn't the thing to locate Pop, used AK address then followed signs one we got on Disney property. This morning I was playing with it and it pulled Up a Pop Century Access Road. Has anyone used this? Would it bring me in a back way bypassing all the neat welcome to disney signs? Thankfully this is the last thing I have to obsess over but I'm pretty sure I can drag it over the next 20 days!

I hope that link helped you. I have heard in the past that most GPS's cannont find Pop and it has to under something different.

Has anybody stayed in the 80's or 90's? The 90's seem closer to the bus stop than many buildings. I just LOVED the 80's and really want to stay there!party:

Also, my DS is VERY TALL:sad2: , and I don't want him and my DD to HAVE to share a bed if they don't want to :guilty:. Sooo...has anyone put a twin mattress somewhere on the floor, and if so, where and what kind?

Hey all you GPS people :goodvibes We use Streets and Trips for the laptop as our GPS, and we typed in the address for Pop, It found it with no problem! :cool1:

Pop Century's address is: 1050 Century Drive, Orlando FL

Hope this helps!! :thumbsup2

when is the best time to make the room request?

I'm going to add my request for October to my ressie when I call today to pay some of the trip off. Then about 5 days before arrival I'll fax the letter that I posted above.

For those that have faxed - do I just fax the one page letter or do I need a cover sheet too?

We stayed in the 90's last trip - it is an easy walk if you cut across the 90's parking lot :thumbsup2 We liked the 90's - it ws nice and quiet.

thanks for the info! Oh! One more thing that I forgot! Everything POP sells Bolt On DVD on sale?

A cover sheet is not needed.

This is probably a stupid question:rolleyes:, but do you have to park in the lot that corresponds with the decade of your room?

Nope, you may park anywhere you desire. The front desk will indicate the parking lot closest to your building so it will be easier to unload and shorter walk distance.

I stayed in the 80's section in June of 2007. I think you'll love it. It was much quieter than anything near the main building, parking was plentiful, and the computer pool is wonderful! Oh... my husband says it's AWESOME (better 80's word). :)

Hilarious!!!:rotfl2: You're husband is correct!:rotfl:
I think we'll enjoy it, too! However my DS15 wants to stay in the 50's. He is so opposed to EVERYTHING 80's because his mom is an 80's FREAK!:crazy2:

Thanks everyone for the info! Still have a question about fitting a twin air mattress somewhere on the floor-if so where and what kind/size width?!
:confused::confused::confused:

Found this in the first post :

Full/double bed rooms have 1 nightstand between the two beds; space between two beds is approximately 30"

So, you could fit an air mattress between the two full size beds that is 30" or less wide. Length would probably stick out beyond the length of the beds. There is also a space between one of the beds and the wall that is part of the bathroom. Not sure what the space measures there though.

Hope this helps a little!
