Were you sitting on the floor? We didn't get to do Playhouse Disney when we went because Grace didn't like the shows.

I love RNR too. I also loved Greased Lightning. I was sad when they closed Astroworld we used to go every summer.

Great Report!!! I think maybe you missed my last post, which is totally understandable given the popularity of your report. I just wanted you to know that I was still following along! I loved the pictures of the carriage ride, it looked so nice and th pictures of POR are gorgeous! I hope you made your way onto TOT at some point! Isn't Rock & Rollercoaster AWESOME! Your ride picture was GREAT! All I have to say about crusty footed woman is EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! that was downright NASTY and you showed so much restraint, I don't know if I could have handled it that well! That woman was CRAZY!!

I'm so sorry, that's the 2nd time I've missed a post this TR!! I'm going to answer yours first since I missed your last post.

I'm so glad you are here at the beginning too. I was really glad DS wasn't too affraid to try more shows after ITTBAB. I didn't push him to see a lot more after that, though. I thought I should give him a break for a little while. Thanks about the pictures. Each trip I swear I'm going to slow down and take more pictures and just take in the scenery all together. It doesn't happen much but I think I'm doing pretty good if we can manage to slow down at least once or twice. The carriage ride was WONDERFUL and I recommend it to anyone. I LOVED RnRC!! But I am still "thinking" about ToT. Possibly next trip. We never did return to DHS after that day. YOu are right about "eeeeew" for the foot lady.

I feel that same way on Everest when you fly backwards... I can't help but smile from ear to ear and giggle like I'm 10 again!

YES!!! I love that part. I'm always so nervous about that part but it always makes me squeal with delight when we're zooming backwards.

RNR was down on our last trip.

RnRC was so much fun. DH laughed so hard at my photo, that's why we bought it.
That girl that I met by ToT, her husband brought their 5 year old on that ride. We have some friends that did the same thing on a different trip and their little boy could have cared less. He was not scared and not impressed. That is soooo not me!

about tickling her. Yes, everyone sits on the carpeted floor in rows. It's a cute little show that really gets the kids involved. They love it!!

I actually cried when Astroworld closed. It was starting to really go downhill, but it was still nice to have somewhere close to go for a day or a weekend. We went every summer too!!

2) I still cry when I think about Astroworld closing. We live 20 minutes away from the now deserted vastness that used to be Astroworld.

3) You mentioned Contraband Bayou in your last TR (or was it this TR? Can't remember, but I read/am reading both ) We Lake Charles and are frequent weekend guests at the L'auberge du Lac. My kids are crazy about the lazy river. My DH is a "semi-pro" poker player, and is often there on "business." It was so cool to see pictures of the Contraband Bayou festival.

I loved Astroworld!! I know, it's so sad to pass by there and not see the Texas Cyclone.
LC is close to me. We've been to L'auberge a few times but mostly to eat/drink at Jack Daniels bar & grill. We also went last summer for one of their "party by the pool" nights.
