Where the queer sisteren and brethren conquer, the yuppies are sure to follow! And that makes prices skyrocket which in turn makes me a very unhappy fellow. So I think it's high time to discover and settle in new neighborhoods incognito, dressed as yuppies or something.
I'm in Manhattan. And no hate on Staten Island, one of my closest friends lives there. HOWEVER...you'll forgive me if I hold a teensy-weency grudge...because my ex hails from there. And let's just say I wish I'd had a Disney pin or two during that break up.
Have never been to New Hope, but there's hope!![]()
I may have just fallen in love with you. Figures, I was raised by a gay and I'm like the fly that follows now. I like being a yuppie though, won't lie. FYI, don't date people from Staten Island.... not if they have lived there for more thn 18 years anyway. I got out before I hit full fledged teen years. I was a survivor. I try not to talk about those times though. All my fam is still there though. except my daddy-o, he's in the city with you.
Have you heard of new Hope? It's like a pre req of being a gay in NYC. Didn't you get that memo??

And yes, now I'm only learning after the fact to avoid dating born-and-bred Staten Islanders. I wish someone had told me previously! Not that the whole thing was a wash, just, well.. I'll save it for Dr. Laura. Oh that's right, she'd tell me to go straight.

The economy is truly in the, uh, shutter. Shutters, from the review on the Dis Unplugged, isn't that far from my meaning. So I guess it works.

oh and shopping for overpriced stuff! Well, te food around here is decent as well
