in show biz there are things that happen on the spur of the moment and good produces plan for that. thats ******** thaty last year that guy fot cut off cause they could easily extend the show into the next time slot and bump everything back a few mins.

Good producers know that people don't like it if their DVRs miss the last few (crucial) minutes of a show. They know that it makes people angry to get to just when they're opening the envelope and all of a sudden the recording stops.

As it is showbiz, people should be used to being able to realize things like "following the rules about timing at an awards show that is timed to the 't' is important".

Kanye is an attention hog anyway. He's very ego-centric. I'm not saying that he should totally forget that his mom died, I'm just saying that I think it's ok to say "hey, this is for my mom. I miss her, I love her." I think that it's rude to yell at the producers to turn off the music that's on a timer so that he can take a ten second pause between his words and everyone else has to hurry to get out what they want to say. IMO, that's selfish.
