Just back from 6 nights at the Dolphin in one of their Governor's Suites! :cool1:

It was a beautiful room(s)! I am ruined for life!! I am not a world traveller by any means, but any hotel room I stay at from here on out will seem sub-par!

Our housekeeper informed me that we were only the 2nd or 3rd guests to stay in this room since it had been renovated.

We were on a large corner, and the room numbers were 8111 and 8128. It was just a few steps from the "west" elevators.

Just a few details: it had 3 flat screen TV's (the largest being about 42 inches), two living rooms (or parlors as I liked to call them), a wet bar that had a dorm sized fridge, two full bathrooms, two large closets (one was about as big as a full bath I have in my house) two safes, two white plush bathrobes in each bathroom, 3 coffee makers, 3 telephones and a dining table big enough for 6 people!

I'll be happy to answer any questions about the room and the views we had. Any inquiries regarding room rates or upgrades, please call the Dolphin Resort directly at 407-934-4000.

Here we go! Here is the view we had as we entered from the door we used the most, 8111:

Looking towards the wet bar area from the dining table:

Serving buffet was to the left as we entered the room, with the dining table to the right:

One full bath was located just off the main parlor, the other full bath was just off the bedroom.

The second parlor (or living room) which had the largest TV mounted on the wall:

Our bedroom with a king size heavenly bed. If we used door 8128, this is where it would've led us:

I guess you could call this the "master bath" as it was located privately off of the rest of the suite:

It had an extra long counter (but did not have a sink--the sink was inside with the tub and commode):

Second full bath located off the main living room (which did have two sinks):

And on to the magnificent views!!!

And the last few photos I took before we checked out were zoomed in photos towards Epcot and beyond:

We had all the windows from the left of where I am in the window, and another facing the clam shell fountain:

Oh, and many thanks to my great friend (shown here on the left) for helping me feel better during what we now all our "sick trip" cause both my husband and I were sick! Thanks Sis! I'm glad you and Brian could spend some time with us, despite our horrible colds and could've been in better moods! xoxo

The end!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy cow, that is SOOOOOOOO sweeeeeet!
Dare I ask what that set you back....I am guessing points may have been involved as I know you are a true/blue loyal S/D fan :goodvibes
THANK YOU so much for posting the photos, as I am pretty sure that is the ONLY way I will see the inside of that suite!
Hope you had a great trip!

Hi Finfan, long time no see! Yes, we did redeem some points. It was quite a room! I've never been in a hotel room so large that wasn't a condo!

Oh Blondie, that suite is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! So happy for you! Sorry you weren't feeling well, but I'm thinking your surroundings probably made up for that a little! :goodvibes
THANK YOU for sharing the photos!!! :cheer2:

What a nice layout - you must have really enjoyed the suite! :)

Thanks for posting the pics! :goodvibes

(repeat of pictures edited out)

Wow, I was very impressed, I plan on showing girls these photos tomorrow since we are debating to stay here or Port Orleans, it really is a pretty resort. :lovestruc I had no idea that the views were so amazing at this resort.

Thanks so much for sharing.
PS Sisters are great

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. How is the pool? Is it a long walk from the Dolphin?

Amazing pics. Thank you So much for posting those.

I did edit out the pictures in a quoted post.. it makes the threads ridiculously long and hard to read..

Thanks,

Knox

I don't care much for the exterior looks of the Swan or Dolphin but your room looked awesome. :thumbsup2
