Hi Freaps! Hope everyone is surviving the summer. I am but just barely it seems. I'm too lazy for busy.

What is everyone's plans for the 4th?

I am not a big summer celebration lover. I do not feel the need to be anywhere b/c it is a holiday. I would rather stay home and avoid the crowds.

But- DH will probably want to go out for a sail and maybe spend the night on the boat. We might be able to see the Philly fireworks from our marina. Looks like sunny and 80 all weekend.

And of course! Tomorrow is movie night! JD's Public Enemies opens up- so I need to be one of the first to see it

Im 30wks pregnant now and the baby is 29 weeks and 1 day old! Wow how time flies! Isn't he cute? Ive posted a ton on facebook so if you are on there and we aren't "friends" let me know

Tinker-have you ever made any shirts in Christmas colors or have any ideas? I'm going to make us some for our trip and use various shades of red and green I suppose.

Not yet, but I have been stocking up on LS T's when I find a good price on them at the warehouse I go to! Red and green would look great! I was just telling someone on the tie dye thread that red is kind of a hard color to 'make' so you might consider ordering dye from Dharma Trading- they are really high quality, and beautiful bright colors! I just ordered 'fire red' and 'bright green' the other day, so I will let you know how they turn out when I get them going! Oh, and they will send you a free gift with your first purchase (like a T shirt)- so thats a plus! lol.

our city is having the 4th celebration on Friday night on the 3rd music, and fireworks...but DH and I arent' sure yet if we want to deal with the crowds or not. So as for the 4th, we have no plans at all.

OMG!!! I am so out of touch with baby stuff! Is that an ultrasound pic!!!? It is such a perfect pic, so clear! He is so cute- he looks like, a real baby Geez Louise! Can you tell I do not know anyone who has had a baby recently

Thanks Tiff! I know what you mean about the crowds- I would much rather stay the he!! home than deal with crowds to see some crumby fireworks! Stay home in your nice crispy air conditioning!!!

Madd- They have changed u/s's a lot in the last little bit. Its amazing what technology can do! You can tell a lot by them now... my first u/s's were in 2D and they were all skeletal like-- these are much much nicer!

Well thank goodness b/c when people would show me the old u/s pics- I would be like, "oh, he/she is so cute" "sure I can see him/her sucking their thumb"

Im the same exact way with ultrasounds. I have no idea what im looking at-- even with my own. Not all offices offer the 4d, most just offer the 2d. But they will eventually all be transitioning i would think. LOL and you are right-- he is all boy. Dh was proud!

Yeah, you know- any fireworks that are not WDW or DLR, are like, EH! for us to! haha

Me too! I'm a recent Facebook member and still trying to figure it all out. We can have our own little Freap group there.

Maggie-that is so cute! They were just starting to use the 4D U/S when I was pregnant, but our practice didn't offer it yet.

I looove facebook! It is great for me, especially since I am in AR now away from my friends and family- it helps me feel in the loop still! My entire family is on FB, from my sisters, to my grandpa! I have a myspace as well, but FB is much easier to use as a communication tool for me!

I am on Facebook as well, but I have to say I am not great at updating everything there. I have found a few friends from high school, which has been a blast!

Thank you for pointing it out! That thread is sooo busy it is impossible to keep up with! I got, like 30 notifications on it yesterday, and switched it to weekly notifications, so I would have never seen them! They are both adorable!!!

Arrrgh!! My DS13 left the freezer door open again! All my food is in Coleman coolers while I wait for my fridge fan to thaw out! I was all set to do some food shopping today too. Well, guess I can't avoid the yardwork anymore.
