My kids are Spongebob freaks so I have an excuse, I guess. As far as the cartoons they watch, I prefer Spongebob to some of them. We are battling the crud around here. I feel absolutely terrible today. DS was sick. Then DD got sick. Then Daddy got sick. Then Mommy got the sickest because I had been taking care of all of them. It's mostly just a horrible, painful cough that won't stop once it gets started and the need for copious amounts of Kleenex. AND I worked last night until 3:00am so I'm not doing so good. I imagine I will be on the Dis most of the day looking at DCL pictures-only 140 pages to go.

Speaking of DCL, since we are planning to do a cruise next year we are going to try to do our free dining trip as cheaply as possible. We are staying at Pop and are not going to get park hoppers this time around. Think we'll be okay without them if we plan well? We hopped a lot last time but mostly just to Epcot for supper.

I heard about it- but I never watched Spongebob.

My nephew was actually talking like one of those characters for a while- he would sound like he was holding his nose. And that is the only way he would talk

I prefer the actual act of SEEING JD and then having yummy thoughts I doubt a Spongbob voice would "do it for me"

Oh no Marna- hope you are feeling better soon! I am sure you noticed I am back being a wench- feels good to be home again.

The only park that you would have to worry about is the AK b/c they close early. But that night you can play miniature golf (if it is still there) Go to the movies at DTD (if it will still be there) Go to the boardwalk and take a stroll.

Did everyone hear that the Virgin Megastore is closing @ DTD?

Maggie- I was wondering how you are making out with your Williamsburg trip- I do not see anyone giving much info on your other thread

I havent made much progress. I havent been thinking much about it. We have been putting in an in-ground pool for the last week or so and I cant keep my eyes out of the window- lol.

In other news, we sold our other property today. Im not sure if i told you guys about the fire we had in January but our other house caught fire and we tore it down. We closed on our property today and I couldn't be

Since ive been home i found myself going through maternity clothes that have been in a tub put away. I have had quite a few given to me and decided that since id already went through and washed all the tops, id better crack the pants out too! So I emptied out the tub and decided to go through all my accumulated baby "stuff". It was pretty exciting. I cant believe ill actually have something one day that will need those kind of things. Anyway- thats my sappyness for the minute.

Dont get me started on the ASPCA commercial where Sarah McLaughlin sings. DH puts it on mute when it comes on... or if he sees me watching it he forces me to change the channel. I cant even watch the new one. I cry cry cry! LOL.. im a bag of emotion anyway but for some reason that ASPCA commercial does it EVERYTIME!

Maggie- Glad you're having fun sorting your baby treasures! My aunt waited for years to get pregnant and managed to stockpile so much baby, toddler, first day of school clothes it was unbelievable. In both genders. Sometimes in doubles in case of twins. So, when my cousin was born ( a girl, and no twin) she had so much boy and extra stuff left over she bought the consignment shop in her town and ran it for 5 years.

How neat. I bet she liked that. Sounds like a very relaxed, earthy, job! I have a lot of boy and girl things that have been given to me and a lot of new that ive accumulated from the 'come trade with us' thread or from huge markdowns. Im eager to know what im having. Ill keep the precious/can't let go stuff of the other gender and then gift the rest. Ill only keep what i think is too cute to replace just in case next time around we have something different. Im so eager to find out what we are having so I can start pulling the stuff out, washing it, etc. Although, i dont want to rush it much.

Happy weekend, everyone. I have been lost in books all week. I've been just really miserably depressed lately, and thought it would be good to unstress and read a little. Well, I've been reading a LOT! I started the first Twilight book last Saturday and I'm more than halfway through the last one this morning. I am afraid to keep reading, I don't want the story to end! I think I'm gonna need a support group after these books are gone.

I'm with you on that. I read them super fast and then I had to wait for my friend Julie to finish them.

I know!! The photos paired with the song make me want to go find a gun (only kidding!). It sure is depressing though! LOL. Those poor little animals. I wish I could give them all homes. Did you all see the ugliest cat in the world? There was a thread on the CB about it yesterday (havent looked to see if its still there). I can dig the link up... its such a sad looking cat that its cute!

Believe it or not, I have not even seen the movie yet! I have been a fan of vampires since I was a child and watched Dark Shadows

(can't wait to see Mr Depp as Barnabas Collins! )

Do you watch True Blood??? Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse books? I am addicted to the show, however, I do not want to read the books b/c I know I will start comparing the series to the books. I like the element of surprise!

I love vampire stories, my favorite are the wereanimals though. I have this theory that all of us have a part deep within that hasn't been completely tamed by civilization. That part comes out during times of intense stress. Like the mother stomping the crap out of a mugger to protect her child.
