Good morning, everyone! I haven't been around the Freap Chat in a while, I thought I'd come by and catch up.

I'm trying to keep the kids from driving me crazy - they have a four day weekend and won't be going back to school till Wednesday! We're excited about our trip to WDW next month - we're going for the weekend and booked ASMu - a family suite with the really cheap Expedia deal. I'm a little worried about it - I hope they honor the price! We're Fort Wilderness people - never stayed in another Disney resort - so this should be fun

Madd - I saw Sweeney Todd this weekend. How did you like that one? I thought it was really good. A little gross.. but a great story!

Well freaps, just returned from the airport. My DS13 left for 10 days for a school trip to Japan. Not quite sure what to do now , and surprised at how weepy I was in the car home. He is so psyched to be going, but it is the first time I sent him off on a plane I wasn't on. Hope everyone is well. Who else is on vacation this week?

I bet he will have the most amazing time! I hope you will do okay.

As far as Sweeney Todd- I may have been the only person who gave it 2 thumbs down. Or should I say I wanted to poke my eyes out with my 2 thumbs I am SO not a fan of singing (or dancing) in a movie. Even if it is JD! The blood did not bother me as much as the singing

I took Mom to see Mamma Mia when it came out and I my head wanted to explode . But I know she wanted to see it.

The Expedia rate is so much cheaper than Disney has on their site, so I'm a little worried.. it's been listed on Expedia since November, though, so I think if they made a mistake they would have corrected it already.

I can understand why you didn't like Sweeney Todd if you're not a fan of musicals! Almost the entire movie was sung. I like musicals though, so I was OK with that. JD has decent voice. Mamma Mia, on the other hand... my sister went to see that in the theater 4 times! I thought the story line was stupid, and Pierce Brosnan's singing..

Nah- most people in this country only see in black and white. They will never get it.

You have to venture out into the gray area- it is fun to see things in a whole new light. People should try it more often- it is so liberating to have an open mind. (wow- was my comment just about Kelloggs, or was that a build up of some other things )

Good Monday, freaps. We have been busy, busy all last week with birthdays, etc. I am now officially 40. Not quite sure how I feel about that yet. Old age has already kicked in though, considering I fell down the freaking stairs Saturday! At least I didn't break a hip but I did rip the back part off my achilles heel when it caught under a step. I've been sore the last couple of days as well. Then today, I got in some kind of mood and have been cleaning house all morning(not sure what that's all about but hope it lasts ).Since I got old I decided to start eating healthier, too, so I just finished a lunch of Cheez-its and rice pudding.

I vowed to eat healthier and take my vitamins everyday starting Jan 1st- well, that lasted about 2 weeks.

Some of the things people say and believe just boggle the mind. There is a poster over there that actually said most of the people in this part of the country don't have indoor toilets! Granted, DH and I lived without it for quite some time but that's because we're stinkin' hippies not stupid hillbillies. And, we were in the process of building our house with not one, BUT THREE, toilets that actually flush! Anyway, I had to give it a break and come over here where I can feel the love. And I hope none of my Freaps posted anything ugly on there that I missed.

Oh, I know. Every now and then I'll get worked up over something ridiculous and have to unsubscribe just to get some peace of mind. This time it just hit me the wrong way since I've been dealing with this my whole life.

Hey Marna! I've been lurking. Haven't had a lot to say lately so I've taken a backseat approach. I did read what you wrote about Appalachia, and wrote out something to respond but then changed my mind. Probably because I, too, get heated about the way people perceive our "neck of the woods".

I am doing good. Dh and I are still really excited about the baby. I'm 10 weeks now and it seems to be going pretty fast. My only complaint is lack of energy and the fact that I can't really sleep. It's uncomfortable and I wake up several times throughout the night. Yesterday I did get a spurt of energy (due to actually having slept well) and cleaned my entire house. I told DH I didn't know if or when that would happen again so he better enjoy it while he can. I keep the place organizationally clean. But I just haven't had the energy to bend over and wash the bathtubs and scrub the floors, etc. I'm hoping with just 3 weeks and a few odd days left in this trimester, that a big burst of energy will come with it.

Hope everyone is doing well. That's really all thats been going on with lazy ole me.
