Wow! I just popped back a couple of pages and saw that you had thought of me! I swear I had not been lurking, so to see that I had been in your thoughts meant the world (and I don't mean Disney) to me!

It looks like everyone else is still present and acounted for! Taking in account that some are leaving for fun vacations! I'm jealous, but then again I live in sub-tropic Florida (the temp. here was about 80 and breezy) so I can't complain! I would still love a vacation though!

Hey everyone! I have missed you all sooooo much! I have been gone for awhile, but I surely have not forgotten anyone! I have to go back awhile and see what everyone has been up to! I honestly switched over to a contest/sweeps sight for awhile before X-mas so that I could try to win some gifts for my kids......good news is, I was VERY successful! Bad news is....I missed you guys and now my mailbox is empty because I haven't signed up for any freebies lately!

Deb- Have you ever seen the movie The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio with Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson???

I love both actors, that is why I gave it a try. I really enjoyed it.

Kelly and Evelyn Ryan live in Defiance, Ohio with their 10 children. At first glance their life seems idyllic; they call each other "Mother" and "Father" and seem to dote on the kids. But Kelly was a garage-band crooner whose voice was ruined in an auto accident. He's resigned to a dead-end factory job that barely pays the bills, and is given to fits of alcohol-induced rage. Evelyn, a stay-at-home wife and mother, deals with this abuse by appealing to her priest, who is no help at all. She deals with their poverty by entering the jingle contests that were the rage in the 50's and early 60's, even sending in multiple entries in the names of the children. She is very clever at it, winning more than her share of prizes, but her successes aren't enough to keep the wolf from the door. Further, they trigger Kelly's insecurities and he retreats deeper into the bottle, using food and mortgage money to support the habit. Can the loving, optimistic Evelyn hold the family together? Is she justified in placing her faith in the deeply-flawed Kelly? How will the children turn out? This underrated film provides an inspirational answer to these questions

I was very successful and won lots of presents for my kids! I literally won over $2,000 worth of stuff so far. Everything from Guitar Hero to books to DVD's and CD's to gift certificates! I also won X-mas floral arrangements for both my mom and my MIL (kiss up points for me!) And I won a prize for myself that is coming next month....A $500.oo GC for a makeover, a $500.oo GC for a shopping spree, a $250.oo GC for dinner, and Suave products! I have to admit I am addicted! I've won a couple hundred dollars worth of GC's that haven't come yet, I just won a $50.oo one yesterday.
