The Good Ole Freap Chat ~ Sequel Part III ~

Madds been busy with work, Maggie's been cruisin, and I know MT popped in but I thought she had stuff going on too. Seems all the freaps have been busy lately. I know I haven't been on since Friday afternoon. Didn't really do anything exciting but busy work - grocery shopping, getting the house in order, etc.

The good news is We FINALLY booked our WDW trip!!!

that is so cool. You can pick me up in route and I will be the nanny for the trip.

no, i am sorry. i was NOT trying to be rude. I guess I was asking what is a freap? I am self-proclaimed freaking cheap so to me that would be a compliment.

She's cheating on the budget board.

I visit a lot of the threads on the budget board regularly including the freebie one. I was just curious what this one was about.

I am a happy Freap since our internet is finally working again after a week of calling, threatening, etc. DH called them for the third time on Thursday to see what the issue was and said "Can you see our account information?" The drone said "Yes, it seems your payment was due on Monday." DH replied "Yep. We pay online." After that, they finally showed up Friday morning and fixed it.

The weather has turned wintry around here(about time too!). We had one night that it got down to several degrees below zero. We still don't have a whole lot of snow though. I had an uncle that died last week and he was retired military so they had the graveside service with 21 gun salute and that was a rather frigid experience.

Hello everyone! I have been lurking b/c I have been in the midst of my divorce which just did not want to end, but finally it is over!! Appeal (by ex-H) over!! I have my home and financial peace, and now I am onto changing the deeds . I have been reading up on everyone's news; hopefully in a couple more days I can chat again.

Just stopping in to say Hello. I promise to get the pics posted soon. Just catching up on school work and getting over a nasty bug I picked up on the way home from the world. I am just now getting my voice back and can focus on more then some please hand me more tissue . Hope everyone is doing great. So how much snow does everyone have. We came home from the world to 10 inches and now we have over 13inches. I think that covers everything

Well im back from my cruise.... I can say that last week was highly eventful in more ways than one.

OMG!!! I looked at the photos and watched the clip!!! I cannot believe it! Thank God everyone got out okay!

Major heading to you & DH! What a way to start & spend a vacation! Please try to remember that the materialistic stuff will work its way out and try to not stress over it too much. I know thats easier said than done but please relax, take a deep breath and remember that nobody was hurt and the rest can be fixed, replaced, rebuilt over time. Obviously you have to deal with the situation but at the end of the day take a relaxing bath, get a manicure, something to destress/relax. And we're here for you if you need anything!

I do remember the previous fires! That is very, very odd.

Hopefull you can relax now that you are home- I am sending possitive thoughts your way!!!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. While it does seem very odd.. unfortunately it is our reality, and an unplanned series of unfortunate events. We are fortunate though because someone could have died or gotten seriously hurt. Thanks for the support.

I am glad to see everyone checking in....and all safe and sound. But, I am sorry to hear of what some of us have been going through.

It is good to see our traveling freaps have returned from their vacations. I didn't realize some were going through such trials but it sounds like things will be getting better now.

Maggie, I think you just have a thing for !! Admitting it is the first step to getting better! Seriously, I am very sorry this is happening to you and DH and I hope the whole situation gets resolved as quickly as possible.

I am looking forward to any and all pics, guys!
