Happy Black Friday, everyone!
I hope you are all safe and sound. We avoided the stores today and spent the day at the zoo. Carly took notes about the status of all the animals:
The ducks were happy. The geese were pushy. Franklin and Renee (the camels) were hairy. Daphne the lion was coughing up a hairball (seriously.) The tapir had, as was described by the 70 year old lady standing next to me, a tremendous erection.
Fortunately Carly didn't write that down, although she did say, "Mom, I can see his 'you know what!'"

rushing a store for a computer worth 100 bucks
and they only have one available. I do not need ANYTHING that bad that it cannot wait. No thanks. If I need to go out, I will so so during the week after 7pm. Less freaks. The less freaks around me, the better, I say
Oh Mamma Mia is that good stuff!!!!
Ya'll deserve some good luck.
Like Madd said, there is no deal worth all that.
We have been on such a low budget I have been trying to spread it out over the last few months. The kids are still young enough to not realize that I haven't spent a ton of money. Next Sunday is when we are going to the Smokey Mountains so that is mine and DH's gift for each other. We got free tickets to Dollywood from Coke Rewards and are doing a timeshare presentation
for our hotel room. I'm not too concerned about sitting through a long pitch. After all, we will have the demon kids from he** with us. I figure they will cut their spiel short just to get rid of us.
Someday, I really hope to take them to NYC to skate in Rockefeller Center by the big tree. I have been to New York but not during the holidays and DH and the kids have never been.
They drive like CRAZY PEOPLE!

) and then I went shopping for the day and went out to lunch by myself. It was odd to go into stores/a restaurant and not have to worry about what someone else wants, touches, etc. But it was also really nice. Then last night after the kids got out of school we had to run to BJ's to pick up a couple things, then my inlaws stopped by to drop off some stuff, and then I put on the Grinch (the non-animated Jim Carrey version) for the kids and promptly fell asleep on the couch
