yes, Bailey contracted Lyme disease a few years ago. We have been battling that and other complications. She would rebound, then relapse.

We had to make the most heart wrenching decision today. Intellectually, I know it was the only decision, but, emotionally, Oh My God, I could never have fathomed the intense pain and anguish we are feeling.

We had her for 9 years. A beautiful dog that loved us without question.

Hi everyone!

How are all the freaps doing??!

Kellie, how has work been?? And how are you feeling?

I am still looking for a vacation- anyone looking for a place to get away, Orbitz has some surprisingly awesome deals!!! They sent me an e-mail yesterday and I was looking at them last night!

DH and I want to get away, but OMG- we are so afraid to spend any money with the way things are right now! We have the money in our vacation account- however, we keep thinking we might need to hold onto that money. DH is a mechanic and no one is even getting their cars worked on!!!! :guilty:

He is lucky b/c it is a small shop with only 2 mechanics and they both have been there for 20+ years, but in these times, that does not matter.

I told him we might need to put on some some ski masks and start sabotaging the cars in his area! *insert Mission Impossible music here* :rotfl:

It snowed a little yesterday morning- we only got a coating. Last night before going to bed- it started snowing again and we got just a few inches. It stopped already and we are supposed to get....rain all day :guilty:

You can keep the ice and sleet- but I will take some snow. :wave2:

How scary is this- talk about bad economic times!

I just heard on Howard Stern- that Starbuck's is no longer brewing decaf coffee!!!! They were dumping too much of it, so now if you want a cup of decaf, you will have to wait for them to brew a cup for you. :guilty:

This is way too scary for me! :sad1:

However, Starbucks is also one of the companies having a big layoff :sad2:

It is definitely getting scary out there!

I read that their policy is to brew a fresh pot of coffee every half hour. I guess they were tossing out too much decaf!

Dang, I had to go to page 6 just to find the Freaps. :sad:

And here I thought you would all be pining away for me and speculating whether I'm alive or not. Nothing like disappearing for a few days to make you feel loved. :lmao:

We have been out of power due to the ice storm since Tuesday night and it just came back on. :cool1:

Needless to say, we are very happy but busy. I'll try to get some pics and details posted later.

We_Love_Disney-I am so sorry to hear about your doggie. That is such a hard decision to make but know that you did the right thing. We are here if you need moral support. :grouphug:

I am back to work and it been a little crazy. My company is really feeling the bad times. I was back three days and they brought the myself and the rest of my Union committee in to tell us they would be shotting down for a couple of weeks. If we did not agree to this then they would be letting at least 20 people go. :sad2:

So I talked the CEO and the CFO into putting us all on work share. For those who do not know is a one day lay off every week. We work 4 days and collect unemployment for the 5th. But it saves jobs. So that starts this week. We had to pick Monday of Friday to be off. I took Friday's. But the next couple of weeks I will be off Wensdays. I have follow DR appointments. Plus I found out I need to get a MRI. One of my oncology Drs is worried about a lump. :confused3

I do feel pretty good. I am tired by the time I get home. ( I miss my naps :rotfl2:

We are looking to take a trip in May to Disney. DH had told me when I first got sick that when I was better he would get me a prize. So we are looking at Disney.
Now I need to find someone to sit at the PC all day and hook me in to the dollar a day hotel. :rotfl2:

I tried the site from work but they have it blocked. :sad1:

DH will not stay at a value so I need a good deal on a Mod or mt dream hotel of GF.

Kellie- So good to hear from you!!! Sorry that there are all those changes at your job, but glad that they are willing to be creative to keep you all working. BTW, how is your DH liking his new job? He found something at the start of the year, didn't he?

Just checking in real quick . This last week was a mess. My car broke down again and now I am off car hunting on a fulltime students pay :rotfl2:

and the process is so stressful. We have to becareful on what we decide to do as Nate and I are not working a lot right now but need a car to get back in forth to school and work. Of course this happens right after our trip to the WDW. But we will survive and I will check back in later this week after classes and we find a car to give everyone an update.
