The "Girls Only" TR.... Day 2

Day 2 Part 1

So after very little sleep from Dsis squeeky bed I woke up looked at my watch and noticed it was 6.30 am I jumped out of bed we were meant to be up at 6am for the 7am breakfast slot. Why hadn't my mobile alarm gone off?? I set it last night. Looked at my phone, guess who forgot to put the clock forward an hour????.......

After a quick change we were at breakfast. As soon as we walked out the first thing we noticed was how hot it was so we popped back to the room to get things for the day. I put dd Rapunzel dress on that i got her the night before (got her size 6A) when I put it on it was a little snug so i decided that for 59.95 E it was too expensive for it to fit for just this trip and decided to exchange it. So DD decided she wanted to be Princess Jasmine.

We decided as we were a little rushed this morning we would brave the "Bendy Bus" it was not too bad no seats free tho so we all stood and had to hold on for dear life .
Got into DLP for EMH and headed straight to Discovery land but not before the obligatory photo's down mainstreet.

We noticed that the two Men statues that used to be outside the shop that welcomed you had gone. We used to call one of them Dsis boyfriend as she would always have a picture taken with them. here is a picture of Dsis standing upset where they were

After a few goes around Buzz and Dmum and Dsis had a couple of goes around SM we diecided to head over to studio's for the 9.30 opening. We were waiting in line when about 9.15 the gate infront of us opened and a CM asked the people infront if they could get passed and the CM walked up to us went down to DD and said to her " Would you like to open the Park for me today?" DD said yes and she walked us through on the otherside of the gates it fealt so weired to be the only ones in there. The CM placed a cap on her and gave her a clapper board while I took a few pics of her.

The CM also gave her a certificate that said I opened the Disneyland Paris Studio's I was so overwealmed and loved this very moment for her. DD had to say something along the lines of "I open this park Now" and clap the board. All the guests cheered outside the gates. Such a happy and wonderful thing to be asked to do.
Dsis and I ran to Crush while Dmum and DD walked and waited for us. They met up with us while we were in the queue we were 1st (this is where we started saying oooo Bonus) Dmum and DD waited on the other side of the rope while we waited to be let in, a lovely CM started talking to us and asked if Dmum and DD wanted to go on I thought DD was too small but turns out she is not but i said No to her on this ride as i think I would have had a heart attack the whole way around as i can't hold her on this one. the CM told us that when we get to the ride where you tell them how many people ask them for a child swap voucher. They give you a piece of paper that entiltles up to 2 people to enter through the exit anytime that day. This service was amazing I mangaed to ride this about 5 times this holiday when i usually only get 1 or 2 goes due to the waiting time.
After Crush (which seemed to go really fast this time) we got FP for TOT while we were waiting for our time we went and exchanged DD dress which was no problems. We entered TOT through the FP queue and while we were waiting for the lift there was an anouncememnt that said althoug the time out the front said 90 minutes it was more like 2 to 2 and a half hours due to lifts not working.... We eventually got on 45 minutes later and for the first time i was a brave girl and let Go (I usually grip on so tight my hands go blue) Wow this is such a difference experience..... scary but good.

We then decided to head to DLP and grab some lunch before we went to get in the Queue for Rapunzel. On the way out we bumped into Mulan she was so lovely and had a nice little conversation with DD about her wearing a princess Jasmine costume Mulan said she would tell jasmine she saw her. it was lovely of her to take the time to talk to dd even though there was big crowds around her.

Day 2 Part 2

We decided to sit in the arcade walkway behind the Gibson girl and have a packet of crisps and an ice cream It was waaaaaaay to hot to be sat outside I had a double scoop (i know... naughty) chunky monkey and strawberry cheesecake and dd had just strawberry cheesecake. Yummy but shame they are not in cones anymore they are just in tubs. .
I then got DD dressed in her rapunzel dress and put her flowers in her hair (just like Rapunzel's as DD would say) and plaster dd is suncream.

We then headed to fantasyland at 12.30 to meet rapunzel for the 1.30 meet we were advised by Mum to Belle to get there early and she was soo right there was already about 30 preople there. Got in the queue and while we were cooking (liturally) Flynn Rider turned up about 1pm and came through the queue to meet everyone he was lovely too he chatted away and made each child feel special.

Finally after and hour and a half of waiting it was DD turn. Don't know if you remember that DD made Rapunzel a picture well she gave it to her and she absolutly loved it. rapunzel was so lovely and took her time talking to dd about the picture and that she had flowers in her hair like hers.

Rapunzel thanked dd for the lovely picture and gave her a kiss on the cheek then called Flynn over to put the picture in his bag. DD was so happy, this day was turning out to be so magical. As we were walking towards the carosel we bumped into Flynn again who came over and said to DD that he loved her picture .

Day 2 part 3

Sorry i am having to do this in so many parts but DS keeps leaning on the laptop and i'm scared he is going to delete something .

After our Amazing day so far I tried to persuade DD to change her dress as it was far too hot to be wearing that dress in this heat but DD was having none of it DD said "I don't want to take it off Rapunzel said I look beautiful and pretty just like her" bless. We decided it was starting to get busy now and had a wonder around the shops. I quickly took back to the hotel our purchases and got DD tinkerbell dress as this was a cooler one hoping that i could get DD to change. I met the rest at Planet hollywood for our 4pm booking (not my choice of restaraunt it was my Dsis) we went in downstairs to find this part closed so we got the lift up and was seated straight away. We decided what we wanted and it took what felt like forever for the waiter to come back he took our order.
Dmum and I had the Turkey club sandwich which was slightly toasted and the bread in the middle was so soggy i could bearly eat it

Dsis had the LA lasagne she said this was nice.

DD had the childs Chef salad which had cheese tomato's cucumber etc DD hardly touched it which is not like her, turns out she was coming down with a cold
I managed to get DD to put her tinkerbell dress back on with a promise we would go back on Peter Pan.

After our very slow service meal we headed back to the park and had our first go for this trip on BTM as we had FP for this trip, I really love this ride it makes me laugh the whole way around. Headed to POTC and as usual 10 minute wait. then as promised we went on Peter Pan and was sneaky again and as dd was dressed as Tinkerbell we walked straight on. Got another FP for BTM and took some photo ops at the Mad hatter's tea party.

Then headed to Casey Jnr and story boat ride for a nice rest when i noticed that the windmill and the little catering hut was blocked off and they were re-thatching the roofs.

Had our last go for the day on BTM and a stroll through the village shops and I suddenly had the urge to have a larger and Lime (i don't drink this normally i'm a wine or cocktail girl) so we headed to the Cheyenne bar and chilled with a cold one.

DD had a drink in a peter pan cup with a glowing tinkerbell on top

while we were chilling we realised we had been on the go for 15 hours today my poor feet. I went to reception to find out the weather for tomorrow it forcasted heavy rain all day. The receptionist told me today had been 36 degrees in the parks..... It was very hot.
We headed on back to bed in hope that we were so tired the squeeking would not keep us awake. We had such a magical day today I loved every minute of it

I was too blonde up until september last year and we were often told we look alike. We were also stopped at passport check a couple of years ago on the way to dlp and asked if we were twins she was not happy there is 8 years difference between us It was either she looks old or i look young, we went with i look young lol

We really did have a fab holiday Thanks.
It was really hard to choose which dresses to take as dd has so many (Mummy can't stop buying new ones lol )

Rapunzel was absolutly lovely she was so sweet and very very pretty. It was so nice of her to to make DD feel so special. And Flynn Rider was funny he asked Jessica if she got to Disneyland on a horse like Maxamus lol. He also noticed Jessica's hair and said she had blonde hair Just like Rapunzel dd was sooo happy it really made her day or as Jessica says like Rapunzel "Best day EVER" lol

Opening Studio's was a very special and a very happy memory to have.

Thanks for the lovely comments about dd dresses i can't stop buying them if I see a really nice one as Mum to Belle knows dd would wear them all day everyday if she could

I love the photo's too where she is not posing you can see the happiness in her face, one of my favorite pictures of DD is when she was about 2 years old she is dressed as Tinkerbell and she is skipping along Lake Disney.
