GH's Monaco: "I'm Staying"


"I'm staying. It's official...I was never really going anywhere." - Kelly Monaco
On the casting call: "It wasn't even a scare tactic." If things aren't signed by a certain time in the morning thy have to send a breakdown. JFP called her to warn her about it.

Online frenzy: "I love the chaos it caused online."

She says negotiations went smoothly. She's there for at least one more year.

She notes that Steve's contract hoopla was sort of tied to hers. He asked her if she was going to stay and do the story with him before he re-signed. He told her where the story was going and told her he'd think twice about (re-signing) if she was leaving.

She says GH is "cush." Steve told her she's not allowed to do outside projects for the next year, hah. She notes if opportunity knocks, she'll take it, if she's allowed

SOD RECORD THIS:

**Monday, 9/14: In a shocking development, Claudia vows revenge against somebody, this time her pops. Olivia's secret is safe for now. Michael turns to Sam for help.
Tuesday, 9/15: Dominic almost blows his cover with Lulu. Sonny and Claudia agree that Anthony needs to die. Guza notes that the duo is growing much closer.


SOD Casting:
Martha Byrne's run comes to a dramatic end this week. This week being the week of 9/7.

Kelly Monaco is staying.

Two new Cassadines are coming to PC. Mischa and Vlad. "We are setting the stage for a big Cassadine-Spencer story." Lighting the fires now

SOD: On the Cover, Pt. 1 (Andrea)

Guza: "We've brought Sweeps to September." He says sometimes you reward the audience when the story is read to be done, if it's not in sweeps, it's not in sweeps. They brought a real carnival to the parking lot outside the GH studio. He notes is's movie production values. He's very proud.

The carnival will be the place for the culmination of the medical story, and put several secrets closer to beign exposed. Claudia/Michael, Dominic/Dante specifically.

Andrea drugs Edward. Edwards crashes into the carnival while driving there. Heart attack. "This is the generating incident." In dramatic irony, her attempt to get rid of the only witness leads to her own demise.

Byrne thinks it's a fantastic ending. Her character is run down by Edward's car. "Poetic justice," and she thinks good writing.

Subject: SOD: On the Cover, Pt. 2 (Dominic)

Edward also takes down Dominic. Dominic is hit pushing Morgan out of the way. Morgan and Dominic have a bond according to the Dominic actor. Dominic sees a bunch of bad father figures being in the kids life, nothing really firm. Dominic has serious internal injuries and may just need a next of kin (organ), "Olivia has the worst dilemma" according to Guza. Does she pretend not to care about him? The secret could have gone on a long time if it wasn't for this accident.

SOD: On the Cover, Pt. 3 (Liz/Nik)

"This is one of the pivotal incidents." (Guza) L/L are finding their way together, and then Jake is placed in grave danger. Liz was just planning on having a good day with Lucky and the kids. She, Lucky and Jason find Jake. Later at the hospital, Jason walks in to an intimate moment between Liz/Nik. A kiss. It wasn't anything "they had planned on doing." It was an "I'm glad you're here" type kiss notes RH. It takes them both by surprise and Jason walks in. **

On a side note...Is it just me or is Kristina one of the worst child actors you've seen? Right up there with ATWT's Faith. Terrible.

While I am sickened by Liz and Nicholas (where's the damn gag smiley?...here ya go!) I would not be thrilled to see her with Jason either. Haven't we done that a few times already?...I'm done with it.
Sam and Jason just seem like a comfortable fit to me. Sam's character has grown and she has become less needy. Not so pathetic in regards to Jason. There is chemistry there, and he doesn't always have to be her rescuer..like he is with Liz.

It's funny how we can all watch the same show but have different views. I don't think Sam and Jason have any chemistry at all. None, zip, zero, nada. Plus Sam just irritates the crap out of me for so many reasons. I would LOVE to see Jason and Liz together once and for all but we all know the writers are morons so I don't think that will happen.

In mine, Sam was never revealed as Alexis' daughter. Ned would still exist, him and Alexis would be together, not married, and Kristina would be his, Molly would have been Sonny's.

Jason and Liz would be together, Lucky would have custody of Cameron, Liz and Jason would have custody of Jake (obviously) they are on amicable terms.

Jax & Carly have their baby in a normal fashion (which would be so out of the ordinary for GH and i think would be funny!)

Emily isn't really dead, Helena comes back and reveals she's held her captive and faked her death to get her away from Nikolas. Her and Nikolas reunite.

Sonny gets hit in the head, is in a coma for like 6 months, when he wakes up he has no memory, and thus no desire to be in charge of a business.

Okay I think i'm done. Forgive me, i'm just bored out of my skull this morning lol What's yours?

I know I mentioned it before...a long time ago...but I would like to see Maxie with Jason. There could be so many angles there...and at least it wouldn't be Jason in a revolving door between Liz and Sam. * At this point just have a three way relationship between Jason/Sam/Liz

WOW! Great ideas! Why couldn't you write for GH??? I would not have killed off Alan or Emily. The show needs some Quartermaines.

I agree with you.. I'm not a sam fan at all. Now I loved KM on Port Charles.. I think they just totally ruined the character for me.. Although I did like her with Lucky..

I want Uncle Mac to have a romance.. Plus I want Lucy and her duck back..

A lot of great things that I would love to see come back, I agree! I hate that they killed off Alan and Emily, now its like the Q's are hardly part of the storyline, or when they are brought in, its just odd parts, except for Tracy. I miss Ned too, I wish they would bring him back. I loved when Ned and Alexis were together. I like KM, but not at ALL a fan of Sam.

Wondering why Lucky would get custody of Cameron, he's not his father?? Other than that, though, LOVE your ideas!
