Carly has always felt that she, Jason and Michael were a family.. an intimate, bonded relationship that came about when she asked Jason to say that he was Michael's birthfather.. Altho she has had many... many relationships with other men... Carly is bonded to Jason and Jason to Carly in a rather odd yet loving way.



As for today's episode... 4/9.... Kate was harsh but right on point with Lulu.
Loved Bobbi and Luke today... enjoyed the hec out of Bobbi.. who I usually can not watch due to all the plastic surgery... but today the acting overcame the plastics... and yup, I cried when Jason was talking to Michael..and when the docs told Carly Michael's in a long term coma... wow....

Anybody else get the heebie jeebies when Claudia enters a room... dear lord girl.. sexy ain't all about a teeny tiny dress on a grown woman!

However --Sara Brown ,Congratulations on that Hot Body!

who would have thought there would be chemistry btwn Maxie and Spinelli?? but there is.. and it is kinda sweet..

I love when Tracy's claws are showing... classy... but still tough

Loved seeing Alan chatting with Tracy... I don't care if he is dead ... I love him!!! I hope he is around for a very long time.

Just wanted to add..Carly's face..when Lulu was going on about Johnny and all that. What great acting! She was so glad to see her cousin and thanking her for calling the family, and then her eyes seemed to look hurt and then just cold. Way to go Laura Wright!

I could not believe that Lulu had the nerve to do that! I was waiting for Carly to rip her a new one. I guess Carly was just in shock that Lulu could be so selfish.

Ok first, Lulu. I know it sounds awful but I wish she was the one who took the bullet. OMG, can you believe the nerve of her?!?!?! GO KATE! I loved the way Kate went off on Lulu.

Second, Carly. Ummm, I just watched yesterday's show and she said something like remember when the 3 of us were like a family on the beach meaning her, Jason and Michael. And then she said you can imagine the three of us on a safari? I mean isn't she married to Jacks? Doesn't she have another son? Hey newsflash to Carly, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE JASON!!!!!!!! At least hopefully never. I would have to stop watching if they ever put Carly and Jason together.

Now I'm annoyed b/c we finally got Elizabeth and Jason to give in and get together and now they'll agree to stay apart for the safety of the boys and drag this on even more.

One more thing re: Sonny. Now I know he shielded Kate. But, I think he went for her instead of Michael b/c he saw that the gun was pointed at him/his direction and Michael had gone in the opposite direction. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. He was definitely wrong to go anywhere, especially the warehouse, without guards most especially b/c he had Michael with him. I do wish Jason would have flattened him when Sonny went off on him at the hospital. Jason has been saying you need guards!!!!!!!

I know its like this story line is getting so old its not even holding anyone's attention. You would think they would have learned by now..

I agree! You could see exactly what she was thinking by just looking at her eyes. I was impressed.

I completely agree with the comments on Carly/Laura Wright's acting lately. Carly is one twisted, complicated on the edge of crazy, selfish, energetic,
character.

Laura Wright as Mature.. well ummm, older Carly.. is GREAT. She has played Carly with subtle nuances the last few days. And.. I can hardly wait until she slaps Sonny... tomorrow.


Altho I loved Sarah Brown as the original Carly, I do believe the Laura Wright Owns Carly now.

I feel that the only reason Laura is doing well as Carly right now is because Sarah is back. It is like she knows she has something to prove about who Carly is.

Laura fits in with the spoiled & rich & does look good with Jax, but I still have a hard time seeing her in a bar playing pool with Jason, having an affair with her mothers husband, sleeping with Sony while married to AJ....shes just doesn't have that mental toughness about her - the I'll-pay-you-off-because-I'm-rich-&-have-connections persona - yes, but physically & mentally - NO

I gotta say--almost stopped watching GH (yeah, okay--right--it'll never happen ) during the whole Diego is the TMK/Sam is pissed/will Jason and Elizabeth or won't they. But now with holey Michael--the writing is getting good again. I like it when the characters can focus on one simple storyline and have it evolve around GH, where it all began--Michael's injury and everyone's reaction--rather than gangsta crap. I was touched when Jason went to tell Monica about it. And with Bobby talking to Luke about watching her daughter go through the same thing she went through with BJ (best writing ever, BTW).
And I like what they're doing with Sonny. He needs to take responsibility for being a coffee importer.
And Lulu. Reminds me of young Laura--when she worked at ELQ and wore that same blue sweater and plaid skirt all the time and caused so much trouble...
And Diane and Alexis giving Coleman the eye at Jake's! Priceless!

My understanding is that they used scab writers. What I don't understand is why the actors crossed the lines and worked, I would have thought the actors were members of the screen actors guild?

They had a stock pile of scrips. They also had the breakdown of story lines and where they wanted to go. Alot of staffers on soaps used to write then moved on up, they coulda been brought in to write also.

They had contracts they couldn't break. And they did walk the picket lines with the writers during their down time.

I loved Sarah when she played Carly, but do not like her playing Claudia....she's like all over men, it doesn't matter who it is, I think she'd sleep with them all.

Laura is playing the scenes really well, she's so emotional and I just watched the episode where Lulu was being a complete idiot. Patrick was funny. "Do you need a father for your baby?"

I agree with this with Sarah Brown's Carly (not so much Laura Wright's, only because I don't feel like there's been too much between them since LW took over, and usually he's been annoyed with her the past few years), but I do like Jason/Carly.

Even though I love Laura Wright and Tamara Braun, I really agree with this! Sarah has been the only real carly to me, she has some kind of quality (and I don't know exactly what it is) that just can't be duplicated. Carly was such a unique character when she portrayed her. I've enjoyed Carly with Laura and Tamara, but she's just not the same. Sarah's Carly was soooo tough, yet so completely vulnerable at the same time, the others seem to try to portray that and do a good job, but it's just not the same. I looooove Sarah Brown, Claudia, Carly I don't care--- I think she's so awesome!

I'll take it and least I'm not completely alone I like to go on Youtube and look up clips of Jason/Carly from the old days. I had a video from some classic clips. My brother bought me a fancy DVD player that I transferred the video to DVD. So I tossed the video, then the DVD player broke and I can't get the DVD to play on any other player

Yes the gun was aimed toward Kate & Sonny & then it richoted(sp?) off a metal shelf & hit Michael.

I really love Laura Wright as Carly. She has made me like Carly as a character. Sarah Brown makes me want to vomit. There is nothing subtile or complex about her, she just plows in and bowls over the scene. Thank goodness she's kept the nostril flaring contained as Claudia. But I'm really really hoping she doesn't re-sign when her year is up.

Anybody else feel like me & just can't get past the fact that he thought gun & didn't think, my child? He could have yelled, get down or something. But even when the shot was fired, he didn't look back for Michael. He only looked when someone started saying something about Michael being hit. I just can't shake that feeling & I guess that's what has me totally understanding Carly's feelings right now.

I realize choices were made about Michael's life & those choices led to this outcome, but I just can't feel the I told you so, no matter if it's deserved. This is just a painful story.
