I just caught a quick "I can't believe you saved Liz" speech that Sonny gave and all I thought was that this is a new low in the writing...I would have told him to bite me...

If it was Sonny and Carly, Sonny would have done anything to save the Mother of his children so why is that not ok with Jason?

Selfish turdball....I really hate Sonny.


I LOVE the Max and Milo idea...I love them both but especially Max...

IF the mob boys do split up i'm hoping that Max and Milo go with Jason.. Someone needs to just lock sonny up for awhile.. Heck put carly in with him too for the rest of us.. Make sure that room is sound proof.. We will leave the rest to our imaginations..

Sonny is such a jerk! Unbelievable jerk actually. Jason is laid up in the hospital and he's says, "I want you to do your job!".

Oh yes, let me unwind my gauze so I can help you sonny while you treat me like dirt. Sonny needs to be locked up in the psyche ward, not Johnny.

That's what I was thinking too. He is so totally self centered also. I hope they have this come back and kick him in the butt, when he finds out he was so arrogant, and pigheaded that he only saw what he wanted to.

And excuse me girls..I know we love Jason...BUT it's time for him to get a backbone! He needs to stand up to Sonny and stick up for Elizabeth!

I agree, I posted earlier that I don't want to miss when he finds out it wasn't the Zaccharas...probably won't believe it, but hopefully, he won't have killed Johnny before then.

I also want Lulu to grow a backbone, or a brain, maybe both. I really liked her for a while, thought she had potential to become the "Laura" ie: loving, giving heart, of the younger set, but nowadays, not so much.

Auntie- I agree with this one too! Jason needs to back his girl, she sure was backing him today! I mean really, has anyone ever SEEN Sonny actually shoot anybody. He's always ordering everyone else to do it, or waving that big ole gun around in somebody's face, but I can't remember actually seeing him use that gun. If I was Jason I would just say "shoot 'em yourself Sonnyboy".

I don't think I've seen Jason actually really shoot or kill anyone either. Certainly it's impliled that he's Sonny's "enforcer"..but yet...I don't recall that really ever happening. That's why I call them the "coffee mobsters"....They have just a little too much caffiene in their systems. Honestly, I'm just incredibly tired of the whole MOB thing. It's old, and it's been done again, and again. I'm ready for some new storylines all together. Seeing Jason actually stand up to Sonny, and not just be his go-fer. I mean WHO would go to someone's hospital bed, and tell them to just DO THEIR JOB! Incredible.....get a life Sonny. Maybe keep an eye on your OWN kid..there's a thought. Why is Jason responsible for Sonny's family, the one Sonny stole from him I might add.

I didn't think Sonny stole Jason's family. Didn't Jason ask Sonny to look after Carly and Michael when Steve Burton left the show for a while? I kind of remember Sonny not being too thrilled with having to look after Carly. Am I remembering correctly?

He didn't mean to but he totally did. He knew Jason loved Carly and wanted a real family with her and Michael. He only slept with her to 'show' Jason what a ***** she was. Of course she got pregnant and Sonny had to claim her as his.

Michael was Jason's 'son' too and Sonny basically stole him too.

I also really want Jason to call Sonny on all of this and tell him to stuff it.

Wait, I thought Jason never wanted a "relationship" with Carly. Didn't he just feel the need to protect her b/c she originally told him that Michael was his and not AJ's?

Maybe my memory is clouded b/c I hate Carly and never wanted her anywhere near Jason, never mind being his best friend.

In August, Jason and Elizabeth Webber became friends after he rescued her when she was harassed by a man at Jake's bar. At the time she was mourning the loss of Lucky Spencer, her fiancé, who was presumed dead. Jason and Carly teamed up and learned in October that Sonny’s new love Hannah Scott was an FBI agent who wanted to bust Sonny. Jason told Sonny the truth and then helped Sonny recover from his mental breakdown in November. Over the course of time, Jason fell in love with Carly and although he told Sonny, he hadn't yet told Carly. In December Carly saw Jason and Elizabeth dancing together at Kelly’s and became jealous. She went to see Sonny to ask him what was going on. Rather than telling Carly that he knew Jason was in love with her, Sonny led Carly to believe that Jason was instead involved with Elizabeth. Carly believed Sonny. She then slept with him. Jason was shot and found out that Carly had slept with Sonny when he arrived, wounded, at Sonny's penthouse. Devastated by their apparent betrayal, Jason left and wandered around until he collapsed near his old abandoned boxcar. Elizabeth found him unconscious, frozen, and bleeding to death in the snow and dragged him into the boxcar. Elizabeth went to Sonny and Bobbie Spencer to tell them what happened and they came to help Jason, but Jason refused to speak to Sonny or go to the hospital. Elizabeth took Jason to her art studio where she had Bobbie remove the bullet and close Jason's wound. She nursed him back to health. Carly hated Elizabeth what she saw as Elizabeth's manipulative behavior with Jason and for being the impetus for her one-night stand with Sonny. Jason saved Elizabeth’s life after a bomb was placed in her art studio. He tried to end their friendship after Sorel started to threaten her.

Jason was unable to deal with Sonny and Carly’s betrayal and felt the people he cared about would be safer if he was not around. He also could not stand Carly’s crazy attempts to get back into his affections. He gave Sonny power of attorney over all his accounts and control over his assets which had been put in a trust fund for Michael. He left town on January 17, 2000.

Ok I'm seriously having site issues. It was short lived. It was part of the Sonny/Hannah time so you likely FF it. lol Of course by the time SB returned from shooting what ever movie he left to do it was over and he was back to the 'only wants to be friends' thing. I think there may have been a writer switch, one who didn't want C&J to one who did and then back to one who didn't.

I have to admit I was surprised that Jason did yell or say anything really to Sonny after how he was acting! I have a hard time believing even Sonny w/ all his faults would go off on his "BF" saying that he wanted to get hurt so he wouldn't have to do his job. And all the other crazy things that he said.

For some reason some of it just isn't sounding familiar. I remember the fire Lucky was in, the boxcar, Jason wounded and being in Liz' studio but some of the Jason in love with Carly and Sonny betraying Jason is just not sounding familiar to me. I guess my brain is blocking it out.

trust me, it was easy to miss. I swear their had to be a writer change. It was like a 1day revelation and then back to just friends. They seem to back peddle with Jason and 'love' a lot. I also remember him telling Sonny that he loved Elizabeth years ago, before Sam. He went to tell her at her studio and saw her with Zander.

They seriously backpedaled that one too.

The Carly thing is a big reason I hate the Sonny/Jason relationship so much. Jason is super loyal to Sonny who screws him over all the time.

He's supposed to be this big macho hero yet he never stands up to Sonny who walks all over him. He occasionally stands up to Carly but I don't think he does that enough either.

I also remember Jason telling Bobbie he loved Carly. Bobbie told him to go tell Carly that. When Jason tries to find her, he ends up seeing Carly and Sonny in bed together.

Sonny abosolutely betrayed Jason...that's how they sort of wrote Jason off at the time. He left at that point. I also remember that Carly was supposed to meet up with Jason and they were going to run off together never to be seen again...but freaked out..and didn't show up and wound up going back to the Quartermane mansion with Michael. Then when Sonny found out Carly was still pregnant with his child, she was at the Quartermane mansion..and he(Sonny went and physically took her out of there). Also when Carly and AJ fought and she fell down the stairs...losing the baby she was carrying that was Sonny's. Sonny thought Carly was just a slut(much the way he thinks of Claudia now..who coincidentally played Carly back then!). Right before going to the mansion to get Carly, there was phone call to Jason..and Sonny is heard telling him he's "going to get them"meaning Carly and Michael, and he's going to take care of "his family". I remember thinking at the time...that I guess all was forgiven. Yeah..right! Or at least that was the way they were writing it. Suddenly he was falling in love with Carly. After she kept calling his last love Hannah Banana! That was great!
