The GH Official Thread

Guza is cheap -- actually, Frons is to blame. They're saving money by ordering fewer episodes, and there will be more of these "special" episode days... at least that's my understanding.

I agree, but since I haven't managed to watch any of the episodes this week, I guess I'll be okay (they are on my DVR at home, though, I'll get to them probably this weekend).

I think Nikolas and Siobhan- I know I didn't spell that right-will get together. Let Lucky have Liz back, give Liz to the Balken.:rotfl2:

I just was going through my dvr and I have an unprecedented 11 episodes of GH's waiting for my viewing and I think I am going to just delete them. Considering the lack of posts on this thread as of late I think some may feel the same. :rolleyes1

Only good part was when they had Liz & Nikolas bring the kids to the hospital to trick or treat.. :lmao: That was the highlight IMO...

I do like Michael bonding with Candy (can't remember her name) Its like a sonny & brenda only age reversal... Man that would just drive Carly crazy... I so hope they go with it.. :lmao:

Me too! I've been reading the little discription they give you when you click on the episode and then I delete it. If I feel like watching I check out Friday's and Monday's episodes.

I have been watching it on dvr and then doing housework while its on... That way I can hear it but really its been so boring........

I am just sick of the "Brenda" show. All Brenda, All the Time, is not interesting to me. It seems like the only 2 storylines are "Brenda, Brenda, Brenda", and "Psycho Lisa Gaslights Robin". I guess there may be more, that's just what has stayed with me. I would really like a little more variety!

Maria :upsidedow

I honestly loved Brenda back in the day but it is just not translating for me! Every single, and married, man is drooling over Brenda and I just am not getting it and it is making me

They need more Diane and Max and Alexis and Mac... A double date would be fun :rotfl:

Kind of a big YAWN. They really need to move things along.

The entire soap opera genre is going by the way side. I would hope that the PTB at General realize this and start to make changes that will keep our favorite long time soap from becomming one of those that get kicked to the curb. The repetitive story lines..(talk about beating a dead horse here with Patrick/Robin/ Lisa:rolleyes1) need to be illiminated. I'm so tired of seeing these characters repeat almost verbatim the same dialog from one day to the next. :headache:

I might add that I would have preferred to have seen Brenda give as good as she got from Carly, instead of looking like a wounded deer in the headlights. She's "supposed" to be this big time celebrity/model (again..so believeable. How many 5'2" models are there:sad2:?) Let's give Brenda just a little bit of a back bone please. :confused3

:thumbsup2

Oh, I'd love to see that! What a way to lighten up what is often a too dreary Soap.

Totally agree.:thumbsup2

Dreary...the Robin/Patrick/Lisa...I mean does anyone even care about this anymore?....:confused3

Michael and the stripper...like ya don't know where that's going:sad2:

Brenda...does she really do anything besides brood and mope.

The only thing I kind of liked was Lucky and his Irish accent. It was different, and he finally got "lucky"..:rotfl: so to speak. I was so sick of seeing him be a sap. Always coming in second to Jason in Elizabeths eyes, and then being betrayed by his own brother, yet again with Elizabeth.
I thought it was going to get interesting when Luke met up with him in Ireland. I think those two have great on screen chemsitry, and wouldn't mind seeing a storyline that brought out the dynamic between father and son.

Sneak Peek Week of November 8 (ABC Hot Sheet)

**Brenda's secrets just can't stay hidden any longer. As we find out more about the shooting that has haunted her and Dante, Brenda finally spills to someone -- and it's Jason. He's probably the right guy to tell, but how will he react when it comes to Dante? Or keeping the secret from Sonny, for that matter?

Also -- don't think we have the full story on Brenda and Dante's secrets quite yet. A bomb's about to drop this week that puts every other revelation in the dust. When you hear it, you'll know what a game changer it will be.

And for those wondering about Sonny and Brenda - here's a little tidbit for what to expect this November. The moment you've been waiting for - it happens.

Carly knows about Brenda and Dante's past and makes a beeline to Lulu with stories about Dante and Brenda's connection. Good to know Carly hasn't forgotten her other vengeful plots just because she's out to destroy Brenda too. And boy, does she get some ammo to help her with that this week.

Robin makes it out of the fire alive, but she's not nearly out of the woods. She contracts a dangerous infection from her burn wounds, and with her HIV, recovery is going to be tough. Will she allow Patrick to be there for her, even after everything that he's done? Of course, the infection might not even be the biggest danger for Robin. Not with Lisa wandering around the hospital with hypodermic needles all around.

Luke's been doing a good job of shining Tracy on in the aftermath of his fake heart attack. That all ends this week, when Ethan accidentally blows Luke's cover. How do the Spencer boys intend to fix that? How about a trip to Vegas, with Tracy and Maya in tow? And things get really interested when someone -- not saying who -- wakes up married.

All this, plus Olivia gets jealous of the time Johnny is spending with Carly, and Lucky saves Siobahn ... only to end up worried that she's going to head back to Ireland.
