Ugh, missing today's show because of baseball.

The killer is definitely Esme; right? I know she told Ryan she wasn't, but who else would want that drug guy dead besides her?

There are so many sports channels that I don’t get it why the regular networks pre-empt regular programming.

It wouldn't be Spencer's since they hadn't been together in several months. We're probably supposed to think it's Nick's baby, but that would be too convenient. It will probably be revealed down the road that she used some other guy to get pregnant so she could pass it off as a Cassadine heir.

It could be the fisherman who saved her that is the dad. Something tells me it won't be Nikolas' child. I don't think she is faking since she was trying to get in and out of there without being seen.

I so want her to be faking the pregnancy but since we just recently had a fake pregnancy story line, I'm guessing this one is going to be real. And I think it still could be Spencer's (or someone else's)...she could have been pg already when she slept with Nicholas and either didn't know it or chose to keep it a secret. I hope Nicholas insists on a DNA test...and physically watches the blood being drawn and hand carries the sample to the lab himself and watches the tech run the test. Otherwise Esme will pay someone to fake the DNA results. I'm not confident that this is truly Nicholas's baby. I'm guessing this is the secret plan she told Ryan about.

That would have been interesting! But they just did the Finn/Gregory/Chase paternity story. They also just did the "let's pretend this baby is a Cassadine to get what we want from them" story with Maxie/Brooklyn/Valentin/Bailey. I guess there's a limited number of fake baby/paternity storylines so they have to keep reusing them. I do think Esme is a great villain and I'm glad she's back to cause more trouble. They're drawing the Willow story out way too long. Just tell Michael already! I was over the Carly in Jacksonville thing the minute it started. Anna and Valentin trying to take down Victor is getting convoluted and boring. The hook story has been rather entertaining!

I agree with the fake pregnancy/paternity storyline thing. I'm not sure how this one will play out but we know it's not going to be a "I'm so happy we're having a baby together" storyline. I agree that Esme is a great villain but I do get tired of her. And yes, the Willow storyline is taking waaaayyyyy too long. Let's just fast forward to the part where Nina gives her a bone marrow/blood donation and everything turns out fine. The Carly storyline just feels like the writers didn't know what to do with her so they gave her some back-burner storyline while they figure it out. I wonder who the latest hook victim is. You'd think with this many attacks, people in that town would know not to walk down dark allies or hang out in dark buildings alone (why the heck didn't Diane just turn on a light?????).

I loved how Nicholas locked Esme in that room today! "There's no internet??? What am I supposed to do all day?" "Read a book" I hope when he tells Ava about the "alleged" baby (I'm hoping he's learned his lesson about keeping secrets from Ava but I'm not holding my breath), that she decides to team up with him to expose Esme for everything and send her packing.

Yes!! I can totally see the two of them scheming together to take down Esme. It could be awesome. And if Ava figures out that Ryan is faking everything and then figures out that Esme is allegedly his daughter (I'm still not convinced that's true), she will go ballistic and it will be so sweet to watch. GH writers, please don't disappoint us!!!

Linda Purl looks great. I guess she's 67 and she's been dating Patrick Duffy for a couple of years.
