I didn't think of Ryan being Esme's father, that would be a great twist. Would make sense why she hates Ava, hates that Ava turned her father's advances down. Just wonder who the mother will be, could it be Felicia?

Somehow Esme reminds me of Nell in that respect-even when she pretends to be nice, you know she's a ***ch.

Initially surprised about the new Wiley(S). But it's possible the show decided to SOARs him a little, or it could be that because one of the twins had a pretty big surgery and will need a long recuperation, Mom decided it was better for their health to rest a while.

I read that the original Wileys (Theo and Erik Olsen) are moving to France because their dad got a job opportunity there. The new twins first played Maxie's son, James, as babies. They've also acted on another show, so they're familiar with being on camera.

I know a lot of people like her, but I can't stand Carly. I was ready to punch her in the face. Joss is just like her mama. Wait until she finds out that her daddy knew about Sonny for months! And what kind of friend/sister-in-law is Maxie to go blurting out everything to Carly, especially since Nina knows about Louise and almost died protecting her and James from Peter? That's gratitude for you!

I don't think Jax knew until he went to Nixon Falls this last time...so hours, maybe a day??? He first started getting suspicious when the whole Sonnys sauce thing came up, but still didn't know until he got there.

Wasn't Nelles dad Cyrus...not Renaud, but the old character that the now Finn plays. I can't remember what happened to him...maybe that was back when the OLTL folks had to quickly leave GH for some contract issue and streaming of OLTL.

that would make them EVEN younger than they were playing Nelle. And they were playing her waaaaaay young for someone who remembered teenage Carly from when she was a child. Based on the flashbacks, Nelle was only 8 to 10 years younger than Carly

True, Esme is much younger and Brockash I think you are right about Cyrus (aka Finn) being Nelle's father.
I guess I'll go back to thinking her being Ryan's daughter and possibly Felicia being her mom. Could be another stolen embryo storyline like with LuLu and Valentin.

Nelle's 'adopted' father was Frank Benson. Supposedly she is Dr Silas Clay and Nina Reeves daughter. (According to General Hospital Fandom Wiki)



While attending Columbia University, Nina starts dating Dr. Silas Clay and eventually married him after they graduated from college. Silas started cheating on Nina with Ava Jerome and got her pregnant (she gave birth to their daughter, Kiki Jerome in 1993).

Around the same time, Nina found out she was pregnant with Silas' child, and Madeline wanted to kill her baby to sever any ties between Silas and Nina. In order to do so, she gave Nina an overdose of antidepressants (which they thought caused a miscarriage), but her plan backfired when Nina slipped into a coma. Madeline then framed Silas for the crime, until he was cleared years later.

No, he never did. That kind of makes me wonder why Carly just welcomed him with open arms.

The whole Sonny story has been completely ridiculous. There was a massive search after he fell off the bridge. Then a random guy with amnesia turns up on the shore, is taken to a clinic and no one puts two and two together? Phyliss is a medical professional didn't even try to learn the identity of a John Doe? What if he was a wanted criminal on the run? Of course the police would run his fingerprints and try to identify him. And we know that Sonny's fingerprints are on file with the DOJ, considering how many times he's been arrested. It makes no sense. As for Nina, she was deceived over both Sasha and Nelle's identities. She, of all people, should have known how much pain her secret was causing. Sure, she wanted to get back at Carly, but brining Sonny back would have made her a hero in Carly's eyes. But Nina kept the secret and caused his kids, including the grandson they share, to miss time with him. I have no sympathy for Nina and have no idea how they can redeem her character.

I agree about the whole Sonny thing. I always thought it was ridiculous that no one in Nixon Falls tried to help him figure out who he was. It would have taken all of 10 seconds to figure out his identity just by running his fingerprints or posting something on social media. And surely someone in that town had seen him on the news or in a newspaper (or social media) during one of his many arrests. And wouldn't it seem logical that people in Port Charles would have posted all kinds of "Have you seen this man?" type things on social media and also had the local news media run stories???? That whole storyline is just so full of holes and illogical elements....as are most stories on soap operas.

Wouldn't you want to know if the man that is staying with you has a police record. Like someone above mentioned he could have been a wanted felon. The whole thing was idiotic. They could have also suggested doing Ancestry if he didn't want to know if he had a police record. Maybe Christina would have popped up as a close match, close enough to be his daughter. He could have contacted her. Again, so much stupidity with this storyline. There were so many ways to find out who he was.

The whole storyline is garbage. They could have had him get fingerprinted meanwhile Spinelli had wiped his prints clean years ago, so at least the story makes some sense. Okay he tried to find out, but it was a dead end.

Speaking of Spinelli, I really enjoyed the scenes today with him, Scott, Brit and Jason. I love when they have some storylines that have some humor to it instead of unbelievable crap (Sonny's story) they like to do.
