I'm thinking AJ was put in some type of witness protection program -- had plastic surgery to change his appearance but still stayed in hiding to avoid Sonny. And during the last 7 years magically went to college, med school, and did his residency to become a doctor. Now that he thinks Sonny is dead, he feels it's safe to come out in the public again. Just random thoughts....because I've watched this show for more years than I care to admit.

lord I hope not-Cause Then Elizabeth will sleep with him and piss Carly off. I like the Jimmy Lee holt kid idea better. But then Elizabeth will sleep with him & piss Sam & Carly off-

I know, so ridiculous. I imagine they don't have much for her to do these days without Franco.

Of course, now Willow is really stuck with Chase because he's paralyzed and she just can't break his heart while he's paralyzed. Another ridiculous storyline.

I think Brook Lynn will end up telling Chase about Willow & Michael, because Lord knows Willow doesn't have the guts to do it. Of course, maybe Chase will catch on to the fact that Willow barely even smiles around him and rarely kisses him when she leaves his room.

So sad. I loved his character, he made the Quartermains the crazy family they were. I wonder if they will do something on the show for him. I know the character has been dead, but maybe they can just have an episode that Monica just thinks about Alan all day and they'll show some old clips.

Apparently Carly thinks she is everyone's boss. These are grown men in their 50's! I guess Jason really just does whatever she wants. They have to keep repeating that to justify this stupid "marriage". Really not liking her right now.
But I am actually enjoying the other new pairings! Lol Maybe not so much Liz and Finn (miss Franco). I wonder when Roger Horwath will be onscreen more and what his character's story will be?

Well we know Sonny won't be back until Carly and Jason are married lol. The whole storyline is stupid. How does Nina think Sonny will never remember who he is and once he finds out that he will ever forgive her.

Nina is an awful human being! It doesn’t matter that Carly was mean to her or that she thinks Sonny is happier as Mike. He’s a married man with kids who deserve to know he’s alive. Avery and Donna are being deprived of their father while they’re young. And Wiley, Nina’s own grandchild, is being deprived of his grandfather.

After Carly made it clear that she didn’t want to hear what Nina had to say, it was on Nina to figure it out. A caring person would have gone to Phylis and said, “I know who this man is. How do we tell him about his life and family?” Phylis could have gotten a professional involved from her clinic to help.I also can’t believe Sonny wasn’t fingerprinted as soon as he was brought to the clinic with amnesia. His fingerprints are on file with the FBI and the DOJ. The whole story is just ridiculous!

I agree it's a ridiculous story but it's kinda fun seeing Sonny have a bit different personality after all these years and not be the "big man on campus mafia don".
I also think about his kids and grandkid and ofc this doesn't make sense what Nina is doing...I wonder how it will all play out tho.
