I was caught off guard by that but not really surprised. The last time Tony Geary briefly reprised the role he made it pretty clear that it would be his last appearance on the show ever....he was retiring from acting. I'm also not surprised that Luke's death it tied into the Victor Cassadine storyline.

I wonder if they are killing Luke to recast him. This way they can say he had plastic surgery and that's why he looks different.

I hope not. I’ve been watching GH since the 80’s and AG has always been Luke. I would have rather them kill of him and Laura on one last adventure maybe to save someone.

I've been watching since then too and would never want anyone else to play Luke, but just wondering if that's what they're planning. Weird to kill him off when the actor is still alive.

I think Luke is one of the few characters that will never be recast. He's too iconic, just as they could never recast Sonny. Anthony Geary is retired and has indicated that he isn't interested in coming back. I doubt we'll see Luke again, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's dead. Although Tracy did say officials found his remains, we know that Victor Cassadine is very skilled at making people appear dead while he holds them captive. Meanwhile, the people of Port Charles will be very much affected either way.

Just playing catch-up. Scott could have asked Sonny that question on the stand without having to drag Willow into it. The question had nothing to do with whether or not he and Nina were involved.
I don't think they would ever recast Luke but they do play it fast and loose with whether or not a recast "had plastic surgery". Sometimes they do, most times they don't.... Austin looks just like Franco (lol) but we don't notice that, Drew looks completely different but we don't notice that.... I could go on lol. I really hope they move on with the Esme nonsense but she's probably the new "Nell" so we'll have to deal with her
I wonder if the baby storyline with Sasha will send her back to drugs? I do find myself hitting the FF button more than ever though.
