The GH Official Thread Part 2

If GH is canceled, I really don't know how I would handle it. I don't watch much TV, but I have been watching GH since 3rd grade.

THIS!

I have been watching since July of 1963 about 4 months after it started. I was 12. My whole life practically. I remember the very first story line that I watched with Angie and her having her face all bandaged up and the commercial of her in front of a mirror throwing something at it because she hates the way she now looks. The early days of Steve and Audrey Hardy and also Jessie and Phil Brewer. So many great shows. There was so much before the Sunny and Jason show :/

2 words people: Nurses Ball!

About cancelation, I read that GH is having its highest ratings in over 2 years with an 83% increase year over year! These are phenomenal numbers for daytime!

Let's face it, the story lines are SO much better (with the exception of the Jasam mess and adding 3 new chicks we don't care about). I just wish we'd get more on location stuff because it ALWAYS rocks!

I started watching around 1974. I had to ride the bus to my grandmothers house after school. My great grandma always watched GH, so since I didn't have much choice, I would watch it with her. She got me hooked.

Anyone else bawl like a baby seeing Stuart Damon today? So good to see the interaction with Leslie Charleson and also the flashbacks.

Loved seeing Stuart Damon today, especially his hand in tracy's shoulder I was about to cry. He did look thin though. And flashback of him and monica good grief he had some great looking hair back then.lol. and even though I liked carly with johnny, todays episode I ckind of like them or what they could be. Carly with todd: you know todd always found strong women carly should keep him on his toes lol

I thought Stuart Damon looked like he had been sick...very thin. Never should have killed him off :(

Loved seeing Alan! Alan with Monica, Alan with Tracy, Alan with AJ...all great scenes. I will admit that I was yelling at Monica to ask Alan if he's seen Jason in heaven. If he hasn't, then Jason's not really dead! But, alas, she never asked!:rotfl2:

oh how I wish the could resurrect Alan for good! Stuart Damon and Leslie Charleson have such spark.. it flies off the screen!
Thank you to TPTB for such a delight!

and Yes I cried.. especially when Alan put his hand on Tracey's shoulder.

Stuart Damon is a fabulous actor. He can do everything, comedy, drama, sing and dance.

I am loving that the Quartermaines are getting some well deserved screen time and story line!!

Does anybody else think that Tony Geary (Luke) just seems to be more comfortable in his scenes with Jane Elliott (Tracey)?. They work so well together.

Their chemistry is great! Much better than Luke/Felicia or Luke/Skye.

I loved seeing Alan yesterday. I hope they continue this trend of bringing back some of the old characters. I've really enjoyed the last few months. I don't know what I will do if they cancel GH.

I'm sad that Jason is gone. I know the mob storylines were tiring but I've always liked Jason, although I'm not all that fond of Sam. I'm interested in seeing how its going to play out with AJ back though.

I did miss a couple years a few years back. What happened to Bobbi or where is she now?

I was so happy to see Alan on my screen again! I wish he wasn't a ghost, like people were saying on another board, I would accept any lame excuse they came up with to have Alan alive again.

Agree, if AMC could bring back all the ones they did and undo an aborted baby.....

Just waiting now for Lucy Coe to blow back into town, seeing the old nurses ball pictures makes it sound logical. Oh, and Liz's reference to Juan and when did it come out that Sabrina is Juan's cousin????

It was wonderful to see Alan yesterday. Yes he lost weight but to be honest the last we saw him as Alan he was very bloated looking to me. I am hopeful that the weight loss was due to effort on his part and not due to any illness. Monica looked more alive yesterday talking to him then she has in forever. I follow her on twitter and she was so excited to be working with him again. It almost seems to me like they are recreating the golden days of the late 70's / early mid 80's with the cast. I am enjoying it!

I can't remember who Juan was.

Juan was a crappy musician played by Michael Saucedo. I know there is more to his story, but I think his real significance lies in that he married Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber), and they have 3 kids...

Maria :upsidedow

I looked it up online and I vaguely remember him now. Nothing exciting really but I'm wondering why they would bring the connection up now.

Yes! Sobbed more like it. Squealed out loud too! Had to explain to my sick 13-yr old son who he was. :)

Loved when he put his hand on Tracey's shoulder too.

Juan dated Emily. Was part of the Liz/Emily/Lucky teen group at the time.

He didn't have any kids with Liz (Cameron w/ Xander, Jake w/ Jason, miscarriage when she was a surrogate for Jax (?), and Aiden is either Lucky or Nik's.

Juan was Lily's son and he thought Sonny was his Dad, but (shocking!) Sonny wasn't his Dad, it was someone else (Miguel maybe?)

Sorry these are late...
