The GH Official Thread Part 2

I often tape the show and watch it later. If I don't want to know what happened, I just don't read this thread, or any synopses in the paper, etc.

the cool thing about this thread is being able to talk about what happened today with other soap fans (it's not like I can talk to hubby about it...tho sometimes I do anyway. this is Nebo when I do that::faint:)

Sorry. Most TV boards only consider it a spoiler until it actually airs. How long after airtime is it a spoiler here?

We "white out" spoilers ;)

Anyone else see a teen pregnancy line coming up with Molly and her boyfriend, since they both listed "Never made love" on their bucket list?

Also, Sam needs to find out her baby is alive, they are dragging it out way to long!!

Lastly, what's up with Todd and that paternity test? Is Sam's missing baby really Jason's? How did Todd end up with the paternity test, I don't remember him having any connections to the Cassadines?

Anybody go here for spoilers, it's my favorite....?

I believe the first time Heather was being questioned she called Todd and told him to get something (I don't remember what) from her purse. When he dumped it out he found the paternity results in there. I have no idea how Heather came to have the results though.

I know what you mean, before last week I hadn't been caught up in years. I had managed to get to only 2 episodes back when I started seeing posts about the big surprise last Monday, so I felt the need to get caught up. Very glad I did and saw it before I read it.

I am really behind! :(
What was the big surprise last Monday?

Me too!

Me 3 - I'm heading out Friday. We should have a GH meet :)

Looking forward to it already on my DVR when I get home from work today. I will NOT watch Katie Couric's show! Blech.

OMG! That so reminds me! I kept meaning to mention it. In WA (well at least the Seattle area) Katie's new show isn't being carried by ABC, it is on the NBC affiliate. GH is still moving from 2pm till 1pm though.

I have been on the GH thread since inception. As I recall.. "Spoilers" in white were those formal type spoilers from websites and magazines.
We all have just all kinda waited to today's episode airing on the west coast was final before we posted anything happening that day... usually. Sometimes we just post what we want to post. Most people know not to look at the thread until you have watched the day's current episode. If you dvr or rely on Soapnet, you kinda know not to click on the thread.. cause somebody will have something on todays episode.
However when GH was running sooo slow with storylines we could go for days with out being on page 1 or 2 of the community board.

This is probably the friendliest non -oppositional thread on the dis. We all have opinions about GH, it's actors, storylines, styles and possible demise.
We all have our gh favorites. We disagree on couples, storylines, writers and TPTB. Yet we do it with kindness.pixiedust:

I agree Mamajoan, this thread certainly has been a pleasure to be on as opposed to some others on the community board :)

I also try not to look on here if I haven't seen an episode yet and I don't want to be spoiled.

I thought it was a little ridiculous how fast everyone got better from just drinking one sip of water. It took them like a day to get sick, you'd think it would take them that long to get better. Also, why would they have Alexis, Sean, Molly and TJ have a water fight and waste the water that everyone should be drinking. I know, I know it's just a show:happytv:

Of course I don't believe Jax and Jerry are dead, but I was curious to know if anyone knows if either of the actors are leaving the show.

Todd as usual has been the bright spot on this show. His interaction with every character is awesome I never FF through his scenes.

Does anyone know if John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) will remain on the show? I'd love to see the Quartermaine's with a real purpose on the show again.

Who has a water gun fight in the middle of their living room anyway? I realize they just found out they were going to live and all that, but somehow I think I might still have a hard time throwing all that water around in my living room.

He looked so frail in his scenes. And when he spoke it sounded like he was really having a hard time. It seemed sad to me.

John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) is very sick in real life. I fear that this will be his last on screen appearance. I read that the entire cast were in tears during his filming. Like they were saying goodbye to him in real life also.

It felt like a goodbye watching it. He wasn't his usual spunky self at all. He's been one of my favorite characters for years.

Me too....and I love the flashbacks of Lila, that woman was something else, I can't believe she stayed on GH in her advanced age until she passed.

Oh, I loved Lila. I keep hoping for a comeback of the Quartermaines but its seems less likely every day. Who's left, Monica and Tracy? I mean they've even killed off cook now.

Don't you love it when they keep the same people in characters for so long? Did you know that Alan Quartermaine was prince charming in the Cinderella movie with Leslie Ann Warren?

I lost count of how many Lucky's they had...I see Jonathan Jackson is going to be in the new show Nashville this fall.

I think one of my favorites is Robin though, it's such fun to see flashbacks from when she was just around 4 years old!!
