The GH Official Thread Part 2

I can't believe that Sam would ask Jason to raise/love her child. If it was me, I'm sorry I'd have an abortion. Never thought that I'd say that, but I don't think that if I was Sam, I could raise Franco's child. Being raped, and raising a child that is the result of that, well I am not that strong.

I read this somewhere else and it started me thinking.... Did Monica deliver Susan Moores son, Jason? It seems like I remember that or am I getting it mixed up with other babies born during storms?

Okay, first..we're "long time viewers" NOT older viewers! lol!;)
:rotfl:

:scratchin From what my older brain can remember, I think it was Leslie (Rick Webbers wife, and Laura's mother) that delivered Monica's baby (who would have been AJ). At that time, Monica wasn't sure if the baby was Allan"s or RicK's. I think that was during some type of storm, and they lost power. If I remember correctly..(which with my old brain is questionable), I think the baby was delivered in the Webber family home. ??

As for Susan....I don't remember anything about Monica delivering it. I thought she delivered out of town or something like that.:confused3

I am sure Auntie is correct re: Leslie delivering Monica's baby, AJ, during a storm. No power etc... I just can not remember where they were.. I can see it in my mind...but I can not name it.

Susan was out of town... but I do not remember Heather being involved.
Remember Heather's mom? Alice right? Heather ran Alice ragged with worry.

I have really come to like Johnnie. The character is NOT one dimensional at all. Brandon is a great actor and he really has chemistry with everyone. Even the guys do better when they have scenes with him. GH would be wise to keep him and use him well.

I'm so sick of Sam trying to "protect" Jason. I used to like Sam but really started to dislike her when she got with Jason. I still can't believe her forgave her for not fessing up when Jake was abducted way back when. To me, that was unforgivable. I'd love to see them break up. I think Sam and John McBain would be great together. Jason is a great, stand up guy, but I can't see even him raising Franco's baby, I just can't.

I haven't been happy with what they are doing with Sam. I like tough Sam. Yes it is a horrible thing to be pregnant with Francos baby (anyone else think someone might have tampered with the results ). But her hiding things from Jason and being a crybaby all the time is not the Sam I like.

I have a question about the Franco thing. I missed the more recent interactions between Jason/Sam/Franco so I didn't see Sam being raped by Franco. Did Jason see it or was it implied? I know they have Sam getting the tests back as the baby being Francos but there is the possibility of results being faked.

Jason didn't see it, and Sam has no memory of it?..SO, in typical soap fashion, this could go either way in the long term.:headache:

Personally, I like Sam. I like to see her stand up for herself..which she hasn't done much of latley. I don't like that lately she has this need to "protect" Jason. Then, she gets thrown under the bus for it. Accused of lying...blah, blah, blah. :rolleyes2 Really?
Sam was raped because this wacko Franco was after Jason. Not to mention that she wasn't able to become pregnant due to another wacko who took a shot at Jason and the bullet hit her. :headache: Seems to me Sam has sacraficed enough in the name of love for the mighty Jason.
I don't care who the baby belongs to...Jason needs to step up and take responsibility. Whether he is the bio father or not. What happened to the woman he supposedly loves happened because of him. ::yes::

All very true, but I still don't like Sam. Never did for some reason. So I do wish Jason would dump her, but the current situation is not the right reason to do it.

Yes! That's what I remember! There have been soooo many babies delivered by soooo many enemies on soooo many shows over the course of my soap watching history. Leslie and Monica makes sense to me. The Heather and Diana and Susan and Alan sagas, all of this took place while I was in high school so I would have to hurry home to see (we released at 2:30, show started at 3:00). What I would have given for DVR back then! I had to bug my mom to tell me everything every day on AMC & OLTL (and RH as well!) all of them, along with edge of Night are gone now.

And as the baby was born, Monica yelled "This is Rick's baby!" I think she said that just to p*** off Leslie. The reason I remember that is that it was just before I had DS. And we thought it was so funny. My best friend was suggesting I yell something like that when DS was born, just to surprise everyone (we did have strange senses of humor).

But Sam could have left Jason any time she wanted. She didn't have to stay with him. ;)

Previews for the week of 23-Apr-2012
by Carol Banks Weber

**Connie charms Johnny into succumbing to her sex scam.
Everything falls into place so that Johnny gives into Connie’s sex scam.
Sonny and Carly fall for Connie’s sex scam, but with different interpretations.
Sonny and Carly find Johnny and Kate (really Connie, the alter) in bed together, coming to hasty conclusions.
Connie uses this moment to twist the knife in Sonny and end things with Kate.
Seeing his beloved Kate in Johnny’s bed, post-sexual conquest, galvanizes Sonny into a revenge fantasy. Sonny believes Johnny guilty of a kind of rape.
Sonny plans the perfect hit to be executed against Johnny.
It’s kind of late for second thoughts, now, isn’t it Johnny? Carly will also make you wish you’d never dipped your stick in Kate/Connie.
Johnny suffers from remorse for having hurt Carly’s feelings with this sexual betrayal.
Sonny destroys all that he and Kate once had in his mind. He then thinks he sees the light with Carly.
Carly tells Sonny they should hook up too, then rub Johnny and Kate’s noses in their affair. To that extent, the two exes smooch for show.
Carly will eventually get her hands on Kate’s medical file, gleaning more than she bargained for.

At Sonny’s birthday soiree, Alexis annoys Jason to death, picking and picking, until he blows his top.
Jason demands Sam be more forthcoming with him, about everything else.
Jason asks Sonny some pertinent questions.
Dante becomes acutely aware that Lulu never made it to Sonny’s birthday. Try as he may, he can not connect with Lulu on her phone.
Sonny and John McBain butt heads again.
Anna urges wisdom to John in his dealings with Sam.
John McBain manages to obtain his search warrant.
A moment bonds John and Sam.
Jason pumps Sam for more of the story.

Ewen tries to show Kate that it’s in her best interest to do what’s right, to guarantee an improved life ahead. But Connie would rather take a torch to everything Kate built.
Elizabeth gets a hold of Ewen.
Sonny seeks out Ewen for some enlightenment.
Thinking she knows all she has to know, Starr begins the slow burn process of exacting retribution on Sonny.
Elizabeth intends to go to Jason with the latest, juicy bit of news.

Heather listens carefully as Olivia gabs about something important with Dante. This spurs Heather onto the next scheme.
Lulu acquires an unwanted stalker. Could be Ronnie, who is picking up on Lulu’s sleuthing out his role as the stripper serial killer.
Dante notices Lulu’s not hovering around like usual, and tries to get a hold of her. When he can’t find her in the usual spots, he begins to freak out.
Luke starts to worry something awful, like the other shoe’s gonna drop.
The bottom drops out on Dante.
Dante comes up with a brilliant next move.
Dante and McBain put their heads together for an endeavor.
Everybody tries to persuade Maxie to knock it off with this guilt trip. It’s a losing cause.
Felicia’s return may pave the way for Maxie’s salvation.
Patrick sinks deeper and deeper into the abyss, to where nobody can touch him.
Heather makes waves with her latest news.
Olivia learns a lot more about Steve, stuff she needs to know, thanks to Heather.

Tracy tries again to wrench herself away from Anthony’s marital confines, using Luke. Luke may have to do damage control before Tracy gets in over her head.

Next week: Sonny seeks out Ewen for some help… Connie continues her rampage… Jason puts Sonny through an interrogation… Sam probes Jason’s feelings about her and Franco’s unborn: can he father this spawn?… Sam finds herself in a pickle during a motel room investigation… Sam and Carly open up about their respective plights… Starr takes something from Johnny… Carly snoops into Kate’s medical files, reading about the DID… Some stuff goes down at the Haunted Star… Luke enlists Anna for a hand… Heather jumps to a conclusion about Maggie, who is doomed… Like it or not, Dante’s eyes are opened… McBain joins up with Dante on a case.

But Sam could have left Jason any time she wanted. She didn't have to stay with him. ;)

That's sort of my point though. That she loves him. So she deals with his life choices, maniacs wanting to kill him (but getting her). What's happened to her is a direct result of being with Jason. Certainly, her choice. Again, she loves him and feels it's been worth it. (I could gag on that:crazy2:)
Aggravates me when he plays the victim. Being all hurt and insulted when she kept the news of Robins death. Or now, whether he's not sure if he can deal with the child possibly being Franco's. REALLY? :confused3 I feel like yelling at he TV screen.."SERIOUSLY..the woman is pregnant because the wacko who was after you RAPED her"
I don't know, but I think she has the bigger issue at this point, and he should get over himself already.
Then I realize...THIS IS NOT REAL!....

I don't mind some of the OLTL characters coming to GH. I used to watch Port Charles and I love watching John and Sam together, and I think Blair and Todd are great up against Sonny and Carly. I liked seeing another dysfunctional couple at work and I think Carly and Blair could be very entertaining frenemies.

I was excited when I saw Sam and John together. They have always had great chemistry. Loved them on Port Charles.

Anyone think McBain may have given Sam a sample of Jason's DNA instead of Franco's?

I don't see him doing that especially since what he went thru with Liam and the paternity mess there. I would really like to see Sam and John together. I think they would be a great couple.

Totally agree. Their "chemistry" is undeniable.

ITA! I'm hoping SOMEONE points this out to Jason... Elizabeth, or maybe Michael. Why is Sam trying to comfort Jason when SHE is PREGNANT by the man who raped her?!?! Get over yourself, Jason.

Wondering if the writers do plan to hook up Sam and John. The actors had great chemistry in the spinoff days! Sam was pretty good with Lucky - so we know she can handle being with a cop (as a PI, I could even see them making her more central to the police storylines like they've been doing with Lulu). Make use of Kelly Monaco besides the hitman's weepy wife!

I like her with Jason but not being all weepy, as you called it. I agree he needs to get over himself!

What do you think happened to LuLu?
