The funniest or most bizarre thing your kids have ever asked Santa for

DD asked for a giant stuffed horse one year. And that was it. She didn't want it to do anything, just be stuffed and giant.

This year she asked for a sleeping bag. No particular kind. I really wish she was one of those kids that is specific about what they want.

This year my dd asked Santa for a "sick baby". She was talking about a baby doll she wants that comes with a thermometer and tissues and says things like, "I don't feel good, Mommy," etc. Imagine the look on Santa's face though when this sweet looking 4 year old girl asked him for a sick baby, lol!

When DD14 was about 3, she asked Santa for a King size bed. Heck, I don't even have a king.

whenever my friend's ds3 was at my house he was always terrified of the vacuum. he would freak if he saw it and thought i was going to use it. i always had to promise i wouldn't vacuum until after he left.
well me and my sister took him to see santa and we were so shocked when he asked santa for a vacuum!!! :confused3
one year my 2 girls asked for museum putty. i had to google it to see what it was!

DS asked for 2 impossibilities this year.

One, a twin brother. Yea, not happening.

Two, a tree that he can chop down :confused3 and if that wasn't strange enough by itself, he wants one that will then magically regrow, so he can chop it down again and again.

Good thing there is other stuff on his list.

My little girl wrote "ticket to NY" on her list of three things. I'm all excited about our Christmas trip to Disney, and the 6 year old wants to go to NYC.

DD3 keeps telling us that she wants to be a cat for Christmas. Her lifes goal is to become a cat when she grows up.

DD4 told Santa the other day that she wants a video game. We don't have any XBox or Wii or anything like that, nor do we go to anyones home that has them.... I have no idea where she got that one from. Maybe school...

DD14 wanted to be a cat at that age too. She even had a hairball to go with that dream :lmao:.

It's the age. DD alternated between a cat and a dog. If I wasn't watching, she would put her plate on the floor and eat like one. I don't think she spoke for 2 months, it was just, "meow" or "arrf".

Well, just a few days ago, I sat down with my 3 year old Dnephew and said, so, what do you want Santa to bring you. He smiled, sat down on my lap and said, okay, (I'll try to type this phoenetically how he said it), a fowr wheewer, a howrse, and (this is when he got really excited) a PINTO BB GUN!! I said what is a "pinto bb gun". He got a little closer to me and said a little louder, and slower, a PINTO BB GUN. I said is this a new kind of BB gun? He said no, grabbed my face, said, look at my mouth and said again, VERY loud and VERY slow a PINTO BB GUN. Finally, I looked at my brother, who had a cheeky smile on his face and said, I give up, what is a pinto bb gun. He said, a PISTOL BB gun. So, looked at Dnephew and said, OH a pistol BB gun! My nephew smiled and said see, just like I said, a PINTO BB GUN! It was priceless!

When DD was 5, she asked for a baby brother or sister. But, not just any brother or sister, she wanted an adopted baby from China. I said, well Santa doesn't bring brothers and sisters, and besides, adopting babies from China is a little expensive! With tears in her eyes she sulked off to the office in the house. I didn't know what she was doing, she loved to play Barbie and Dora on the computer, so I thought, I will let her be, she just wants to be alone.

Well, a few days letter, the home phone rings and DH doesn't recognize the number. He answers it and I hear him say a few yeses and nos and a couple of okays and finally, I am so sorry for your trouble. When he got of the phone he was laughing hysterically. I said, what on earth is so funny. After he could breathe, he said, that was such and such adoption center. Apparantly we submitted an inquiry on the web about adopting a child in China! After a good laugh between the two of us, we explained to DD that while it was rather intelligent of her to think of such a thing, that she should not be looking at websites other than those we had already discussed. She said, I just thought I would help you in the process, in case you changed your mind! PRICELESS!

I have pestered my DD14 every single year for her to find out what she's going to ask for from Santa. This year she was being ESPECIALLY secretive, I think because she's been getting the "money's tight" vibes and doesn't really want to say what she REALLY wants. We were on her way into Wal-Mart one night a couple of weeks ago, and I was nagging her as usual. She finally said "Okay! Hmmmm... Socks... and straws!" I went  for a minute, then we both went :lmao:

...guess what she's getting in her stocking! ;)

DS7 last year wanted a pancake puff "mommy, no need for 'spensive delievery pizza we could use the pancake puff". Constantly walked around the house repeating the commerical.

Santa didn't bring it. He was devastated so I went and got one. He ate pancakes ONCE from it.

This year he is asking for the Snuggie. Santa has it on his list.

My daughter asked for omnoculars. I was reading the list and thought maybe she just didn't know exactly how to say/spell binoculars.
Nope. She really wanted omnoculars. Apparently, they're featured in a Harry Potter book/movie. They're just like binoculars only you can pause and rewind what you're seeing -- sort of like TIVO for the eyes! :rotfl:

Last year, my dd who was then 6, asked Santa (both the one in Epcot and the one in the Mall of America) for a giant candy cane. They both gave her big hugs and asked if there wasn't a toy or something she wanted also. Nope, just the candy cane. He delivered!;)

My friend's 5 year old grandson told me he wanted a pick-up truck with no walls or roof and "puzzle fire" on it.

I eventually was able to discern from his descriptions and a lot of pointing at vehicles on the road that he wanted a convertible Jeep with flame decals (or as they looked to him..."puzzle fire").

Ah yes, omnioculars. I would like a pair myself. They actually do make binoculars that are mini recording devices and can play back scenes. They're for people at sporting events that want to rewatch plays like they were on TV. However, I believe they're really expensive.
