Chapter 14: Pizza & Prime Time
August 20th, 2012
This morning we headed to Animal Kingdom!
The place is so lush and beautiful. I love it.
It was really crowded on this morning:
LOL JUST KIDDING I LOVE AUGUST CROWDS.
Where is Stacey jammin' to the music?
This morning I was trying to get a Be Our Guest ADR for our December trip ALL MORNING, until we finally were able to get one for the date and time we wanted through DVC Member Services! SCORE!
I was on the phone whilst on the Safari.
Normally I would feel bad about this.
But it was important.
And food-related.
SO TWAS NECESSITO.
Anywho, we had an exciting and adventurous morning, complete with Sarah being asked to join in the fun of FOTLK!
For lunch, Sarah and I enjoyed Disney Pizza Goodness from Pizzafari, while Mom and Scott got some Asian cuisine from Yak and Yeti Local Foods. Yum.
PIZZA:
The yummy Caesar salad:
Chocolate Mousse:
I've had this meal so many times and it always hits the spot. I'm always too full to eat more than a couple bites of the mousse though.
After lunch, we went to visit my friend Mike, who works at DAK Guest Relations. He looked very snazzy in the plaid. Oh, how I long to wear the plaid.
We chatted for a bit and I told him about our successful snatch of the coveted BoG ADR. He told me I should have come to see him about it earlier instead of calling the WDW Dining line 1829031490 times.
Yeah.
Why didn't I think of that.
DUHHH.
Oh well, I got one didn't I?
We said farewell to Mike and I went back to Kidani on my own to shower and chill while the fam braved the fiery insanity that is DAK on a summer afternoon.
I cannot handle that heat. I would get heat stroke. Again.

For dinner that day, it was over to my personal favorite park, DHS, and off to the 50's Prime Time!
We got ourselves a lovely TV table!
Making faces:
Our server was the ever-awesome Gary and he was perfect. We started out with some onion rings and milkshakes!
I can feel my thighs expanding.
For her meal, Sarah went with the classic fried chicken and asked for corn instead of collard greens.
Yum! This meal is delicious and so classic. She loved it!
The rest of us PIGS went with Mom's Sampler for our meals.
YUM. That's meatloaf, pot roast, AND fried chicken. How can you go wrong!? Everything was tender, juicy, and delicious!
Family photo time!
With Gary too!
Up next- dessert and some more of our antics. Stay tuned!
