Hi - will be in LA late August and have tickets to a concert at the Forum. Is this in a safe area? We’ll be driving in from outside the city, what’s the parking situation? It’ll be late when the concert’s over, so a little concerned that I’m not familiar with the area. Thanks!

Parking's on site, surrounding the arena. There'll be tons of security, and thousands of other people walking to their cars, so there won't be anything to worry about. Lots of events are held at the area, and I'm unaware of any major incidents.

The area surrounding the Forum is being gentrified - the process will accelerate when the new stadium and entertainment district opens this summer. The surrounding community is mostly undocumented immigrants, and they keep to themselves. As with anywhere else, keep your eyes and ears open and you'll be fine...
