When I last left you we were chilling out in our room at Pop until dinner time.
Our ADRs at 1900 Park Faire were for 5:00 so mom came to pick us up around 4:30. Dad was still feeling tired from his little hospital stay so he didnt come with use for dinner, plus with the medication he is on he doesnt have much of appetite.
As was par for the course (golf reference for Jo

) during the 1st few days it was raining. We donned our ponchos and headed out to moms car to drive to the Grand Floridian. I convinced mom that it was worth the $10 to valet park because of the weather. Those of you who dont know the hike from the self park lot at the GF is equivalent to a 5 mile hike.
We arrived about 25 minutes early for our ADR, checked in and were giving our little buzzer thingie. The woman at the podium informed me that it would go off at ADR time or slightly after as they were a little behind. My guess is people werent rushing to go back to the parks because of the rain. We took Andrew through a mini tour of the GF and of course checked out the store. At exactly 5:00 the buzzer went off. We were seated in one of the wings and not in the main dining room, which I was fine with because that room was noisy.
We sat down and our waiter was great. I wish I could remember his name, but I didnt take notes. HE has worked for the mouse for 25 years and loved his job.

He took drink orders, explained the character order and the offerings on the buffet. We had plenty of time before the characters would arrive so mom, Andrew, and Jim went to the buffet and go their dinner and Jim also filled a plate for Jimmy. Jimmy and I played Power Rangers at the table until they returned. I was able to get to the buffet and get back before our first character arrived.
Before I discuss the character interaction let me discuss the food. It was OK. Basic buffet offerings with the exception of the strawberry soup which got a thumbs up from everyone. I wont be running to go back there again, but am glad we did it once. As I had mentioned previously, this was Andrews pick because and I quote Cinderella is
.
Before I continue I should point out that you will not see a lot of pictures of Jimmy with the characters in this TR. He just wasnt into it this year. He loved getting their autographs but didnt want to pose for pics so we didnt make him. Andrew on the other hand loved every minute of it!
The character interaction here was great. Everyone was really into character, especially Lady Tremaine and the Step Sisters.
First up was Prince Charming
Then came the princess herself

This is the only picture of Jimmy from this night...

After coffee and dessert for everyone we went back to the store because Jimmy saw a Power Ranger he wanted and mom was there with her CM discount. Mom drove us back to POP and we called it a night. We had a rope drop for DHS the next morning.
