The Fockers Made Me Do it…A TR written by Peer Pressure - Updated 9/26/08 Thank You!!

Awesome stuff!! Ya know I don't remember taking the pic of the 2 of us, but its a good pic! The kids are just too cute together, it was so great they got along as well as all of us! It was really a pleasure to meet you, I wish we had more time to chat but it just means we HAVE to all do it again.

 Jo is planning August 2010...not that I am enabling or anything:rolleyes1 Plus are we meeting when Jo visits her sister next year:confused3 :cool1:

Great pics, Janet! You guys look like you had an awesome time! I'm so sad that I missed it. But, if we're looking at a long weekend in October 2009, count me in!

THe more work we do around here, I may need to bow out of the Oct. 09 meet:sad2:

OMG!!! Now I'm even MORE jealous!!!

And next time you want one of those Mexican carvings...just let me know.

They're like 5 bucks here. And they're authentic!

THanks Jen. I may take you up on that. Jimmy loves his TOucan, I may have you get him a few for his CHristmas stocking:thumbsup2

great update and pics.

looks like you all had a great time.

Thanks Scott:goodvibes

Great pictures from Fockerfest. :thumbsup2

THanks Lessa. We only took 108 pictures at FOckerfest and a little over 500for the trip, nowere near what you took:rolleyes:

Okay, as was the case last year, I'm awed and amazed at how so many people can report on the same event and tell such different stories! And I'm not alluding to anyone being more or less accurate - only that we all experienced the same event in so many different ways. I love that! :goodvibes

I can't wait to see what everyone else remembers!:thumbsup2

Which is why I'm really reining myself in on replies... gotta save something for my own version, right?! ;)

::yes::

This will be interesting to watch across TRs... did anyone ever get a margarita that night?! :rolleyes1

:confused3

I LOVE this picture! :goodvibes

It is one of my favorites!:thumbsup2

Don't be silly, you did a great job

Thanks Jo:goodvibes

Really? Did the shoes get ruined or did they dry out OK?

Once we got through the turnstiles he took them off again and wrapped them in a poncho so they would stay dry:lmao:

I know, it was a bit of a nightmare wasn't it :sad2:

I think we did scare them:rotfl:

Hey you had them too :rotfl2:

Mine were also 4 hours past time:laughing:

If we had only had more time:sad1: It was such great fun. And, yep, toss two teen/preteen boys together and they went straight to Star Wars and video games. Why don't you PM me Andrew's address and I'll get L to drop him a note.

Will do! Let me just check with his mom to make sure it is okay.

Not very Disney magical of you... :snooty:

There is a substcion of Fockerfest that I will be posting as my next installment. It stars a very special flat guest.:thumbsup2
   Great pics and it's so fun to read about everyone meeting! :thumbsup2

Really?! Can I get a few educational type things from you? I'll send you money! Maybe like, $20 of stuff? We're just starting to read about Incas and the Aztecs. We were loking on the map where the different Indian tribes are and I thought of you. :cutie:

I am def down with that!!!! I think 2010 will be our next trip to FL esp. since the Harry Potter stuff will be done!

:rotfl: Sure!!! Let me know what you're looking for!

I may have to start charging a fee...:rolleyes1

Well, I kinda liked Disney quest.......but then we:
1. had free tickets
2. had no wait (10 pm in Jan)
3. Got to ride POTC 3 times in a row cause no one else was there!
4. rode the bumper cars twice....then figured out how to play!

but I probably wouldn't pay for it as we aren't really gamers, and it's a little confusing!

The Kitchen Sink looks GREAT! That's funny about the "production" of it! :thumbsup2

(sorry I'm behind--working too much!)

I'm sorry to only comment on my kids, but doesn't it look like Buzz is about to stab Evan with something? :rotfl:
Yeah, what's up with that? :rotfl2:
I am prefacing this installment to say that this story will be told by much better story tellers than myself. Also, all pictures will be in a separate post because there are a lot of them.

Wonderful version, Janet! The pictures are all so fantastic - except why am I making a weird faces in all of them? :lmao:

We chat some more and Katt gives out the Fockerfest Bracelets she had made and Mo gives out the goodie bags she had made up for the kids. To the kids we gave out pins from Independence Hall (the real one:rolleyes: ) and Fockerfest magnets I had made up on the computer. Somewhere in here Jo showed up, but I am not sure when (maybe when I was in the bathroom?
Yeah, I love how everyone stuck to the "No presents" theme.

Because of the massive amounts of rain a few people were late because of transportation issues

Some people. :rolleyes1

I remember V rolling up with Leo. I don’t remember T or LL or Angela arriving, but turning around and they were there:cool1: .
V ditched us! Truth be told, I pulled up on a Friendship, just as LL was walking by, so we showed up at the same time.

They seat us, not sure how long after the actual ADR time(s) but we have 4 tables of 10 so V’s seating chart went right out the window:headache: . (Sorry all your hard work was for naught V). Our table included my 6 and CE’s 4.
We were loud and OH SO obnoxious! I loved it! :lmao:

After another at least ½ hour of chatting, gabbing, and gossiping :hyper2: we all start to break off with promises of trying to meet again we broke off into smaller groups.
Gossiping??? What did I miss? :confused3

Not sure where everyone else went…I know Kat and Z were making plans to watch Illuminations from France so I told them we would try to get back to meet them. I believe others were making plans to get hammered, I mean to get together to partake of some liquid refreshment.
I think the phrase is "Adult Time". ;)

Jimmy decided he didn’t want to ride so just Andrew and I went. Jim and Jimmy rode the It’s Not a Small World – 3 times.:scared:
You mean "IT's a BROWN WORLD" ?? :teeth:

Next Up – Breakfast with Pooh and our first Magic Kingdom Day.

oh , i just love the fockerfest pics!!! okay, i'm jealous like jen!!! count me in for the next meet!!! :thumbsup2

Me too! We're going in August 2010 just to stalk David ....errrr.... I mean Jo! :lmao:

No report on Fockerfest would be complete without a special section for all of our flat friends who were unable join us for this momentous occasion. Flat Dawn traveled with me.

Travel day Flat Dawn spent the day in my baggalini and was promptly placed in the TV stand at Pop Century, where she stayed until Fockerfest because I was afraid she would get ruined in all the rain.

This was Dawan's home for most of the trip (Sorry Dawn:hug: )
PopCentury9.jpg

The day of Fockerfest arrived and Dawn was finally allowed out of the TV stand. When we arrive n Germany she comes out of the baggalini and ….As the saying goes a picture says a thousand words

Hmmmm. Beer
Fockerfest37.jpg

Um, too much beer:sad2:

And finally all the flats in the group shot.

A fun time was had by all, both the human fockers and the flat fockers.

Really up next - Breakfast with Pooh and Our first MK Day. Are the rains finally gone

Um, excuse me ... where are Flat Michelle and Flat Jen? I guess they were too hung over to move around much. :rolleyes1

We all don our ponchos, except Mo who didn’t bring any. I had an extra one I gave here which she wore and had Kelly walk under it with her.

Thanks again for that, I do laugh when I think of Kelly, me and all the giftbags under that thing, halfway there Kelly was like, I'll just get wet.

Hence why, if anyone besides Z noticed, Jim was putting on shoes and socks in the lobby of the Biergarten.:rolleyes1

Never noticed!
As we are walking we are all chatting like old friends and just having a great time.

Don't forget about the Tat search on my back by CE!:lmao:

We walk onto Test Track with very little wait. Jo, David, Jess, Ellie, Mo and Kelly rode in one car.

After I got yelled at:rolleyes1

drinks are ordered (don't know if anyone actually got a margarita)

CE and D sure did!

I have to say at this point, CE and I took off to get the beverages and just left Janet with all the kids, as CE and I were heading back to join Janet, I said to CE, boy we must really be comfortable with Janet since we left all the kids with her:goodvibes
Next Up – Breakfast with Pooh and our first Magic Kingdom Day.

Did ya get the puffy goodness, or did they not replenish after my visit on Friday:lmao:

THe more work we do around here, I may need to bow out of the Oct. 09 meet:sad2:

Yeah, I think 10/09 is a no go for me too, but I got a plan for those points and vacation days already!

Wonderful version, Janet! The pictures are all so fantastic - except why am I making a weird faces in all of them? :lmao:

And why do I look so pasty white?

Yeah, I love how everyone stuck to the "No presents" theme.

I have a great excuse, really I do, um, let me go get and I'll be right back.:rolleyes1
We were loud and OH SO obnoxious! I loved it! :lmao:

I personally was quiet and drew no attention to myself:rolleyes1

CE and D sure did!

I knew they had something, just wasn't sure if it was margarita's or not!
