The floorplan of the KT@CR Villas!!!

Mouseplanet is showing today in its weekly update the floorplan for the grand villas and the 2 bedrooms. It really looks impressive.

I don't see any thread on the board showing this, but if anyone knows how, could you please upload it here for others to see?

Wow! Great find! I was looking at some other documents posted as well and the Purchase Contract lists the end date as 2060, so would that make CRV a DVC III property?

The way those Grand Villas are laid out with all the extra couches, I think they may have some major "Occupancy Thread" issues.

Ok one question - Wonder why they don't have the floor plans for the "inside curve" villas? The villas that will face the pool.....or maybe there won't be any, is that possible. Wouldn't that be strange? has this been discussed?

It looks like a master bedroom downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs (w/ 2 queens in each). Wouldn't one of the sofas (it looks like there are 2) pull out to a full size bed? That would sleep 12.

If you look at the 2br plan you see that the couch and chair pull out "dotted lines" whereas in the grand villa it does not show this....maybe I'm reading to much into it, but it does seem odd that they don't show the dotted lines.

I tell you what thought....with the grand villa living room, if the windows are floor to ceiling of the 2nd floor that will make an awesome view of MK especially during fireworks.....that would be just amazing. wonder if they will have a way to pipe the music into your room?

I noticed that too. Can you imagine it? Bathe wear you cook. I think there was a Seinfeld episode like that. Kramer preparing food in his shower. Ick!

It probably won't affect me though. I'll be getting HA rooms so the bathroom design should be self-contained. All HA bathrooms are these days.

As long as you don't shave while you're microwaving..I would think not The Microwave doesnt seem to be right next to the sink..its across from it..but to each his own..that setup doesn't bother me at all

So the hair brushing with your back to the microwave and sink, that brush just a wiping those hairs around to me not a pretty idea. I guess it was instilled in me that bathroom stuff does not belong anywere near kitchen stuff. Kind of hard to break those habits. Would be nice if they could just turn it around and put the vanity in the bathroom. Will be intresting in what the finial design will be.

In the Beach club (the only one I have been to) yes the vanity is tucked across from the "kitchen" area but about 8 feet away and in its own area. From the looks of the KTR plans it is half that distance and both counters are with in easy reach of each other. For me it would make more sense to have the kitchen area and the closet flipped. Who knows how much to scale these plans are.

Bottom line it doesn't matter where the two counters end up I am still buying those points.
