*ThE FiVe LeGgEd GoAt VaCaTiOn GIRLS ONLY TRIP! *8/27*THE END*

Sounds like you had a nice meet-and-greet with Tiana and Naveen. :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed the pictures in this chapter. The first one of the Haunted Mansion and the fence is my favorite. The Riverboat shots are nice too, and you managed to get better pictures on Small World than I've ever been able to get. Well done.

It was so much fun meeting them! I had such a good time and hope to see them again on this trip!

Oh wow thank you! The pictures from the Haunted House and Small World I took myself so you, king of the most amazing pictures ever, saying that is a huge compliment thank you!:goodvibes

I love that Photopass shot and DD5 will be so happy if she can get it!!
It's actually on the bridge leading to Liberty Square and not by Tiana herself?
I don't recall ever seeing Photopass photographers on that bridge...

As for Small World, you definitely got some great shots!

And what did you think of the Liberty Belle?
We've never been on it either and I was debating it this time around.
The pictures look nice but my kids are a bit young to know about Tom Sawyer and get the references.
Is there any music or anything during the trip?
And how long is the trip?

I always feel like I forget about the magic shots until I see them on different people's TRs. The frog shot is cute. I have seen that one a few places, but I still think it's a fun one. You did get some great shots of the rides. I do have to say, that Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen that you met are a good looking couple!

It is on the bridge to Liberty Square I think we got lucky getting to that area early! The characters came out at 10 and the photopass photog that took our picture ended up being the photog for Tiana and Naveen so my advice would be to get to that area early!

Thank you! I sometimes get bored riding the same rides so it's nice to change it up by taking pictures!

I really enjoyed the Liberty Belle! There is a sort of a talking tour of the surrounding area and the different sights you see on the island. The tour was 15 minutes so not too long!

I always forget about them too! I never ask for any so if a photog asks me to pose a certain way I will but I never think to ask

Thank you!

I thought they looked like they just stepped out of the movie! Sometimes the princesses don't look exactly like the movie characters but I thought they both looked exactly the same!

Thank you!

That hoodie was her souvie from the USA when she shopped around the world :)

You are correct! We loved our meet and greet with Tiana and Naveen and I have to say they rank among our best meet and greet experiences ever!

That's good to know that she got that hoodie in U.S.A , I always get something that says MK maybe I will change it up this year and get that hoodie .

Nice update :thumbsup2

I totally forgot about the PP picture of Caitlin kissing the frog (saw it on FB) , now that I've seen it again I'm reminded to try to get that shot for DD & I .

I  all your PP pictures from this meet & greet some of my favs ! Great borders too , hope they'll still have them for our trip .

Sounds like you all made a great dis friendship with Michelle on this trip , can't wait to here about your Tony's meal popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

Well if you're looking for the hoodie it was at the kiosk in front of the American Adventure :)

Tiana and Naveen were a lot of fun! You guys will love them!

We had a great time hanging out with Dissers in March!

I love that PP shot! You guys lucked out! That was our Naveen too, and you might remember Phoebe was very smitten with him as well. :lovestruc

Oh my goodness, I had a lot to catch up on! :rolleyes1

After our first mission I had the brilliant idea  that we could reward ourselves after each mission with a treat from that country's bakery. (we'd buy 1 and split it 3 ways)

That is an amazing idea, and the kids would appreciate that they could partake (unlike drinking around the World). I will definitely be borrowing that on our next trip! :thumbsup2

Yes, she literally smacked my upper arm.

Oh. My. Goodness. I had to pick my chin up off the floor when I read this! :sad2:

I love this picture!!! :lovestruc

Great update! And your new pics are great!! I love how beautiful her gown is, it looks very elegant. We missed them on our last trip, I hope they stick around for awhile.

Oh my gosh. I love that Photopass picture! So awesome.

I absolutely love Tiana's dress. If I was a little kid right now, I'd definitely force my parents to buy me that dress. :rotfl: It's just so pretty!!

I've never been on the Riverboat before, but I love your pictures. I'll have to make time to ride it on my next trip.

Thank you!

I love Tiana's gown! Definitely my favorite out of all of the princesses dresses!

I would think they would be around for a while they had changed the gazebo for them so I hope they are around for a while!

I was so excited when I saw how it turned out!

It was a nice little break from the day!

Great update!

Love the magic shot with Naveen as a frog...too cute!

Can't wait to hear more:goodvibes
Thank you!

I love it too! I hope to get it again this trip!

More coming soon!

Me too! Awesome picture! My favorite of the entire TR and there were a lot of good ones to choose from. Great update. So Much fun on your last day. Way to enjoy it!!!!!!!
Thank you!

We did have a good last day!

I enjoy every moment at Disney! I can't wait to be back in a few days!

When Caitlin left off we were headed to Tony's for lunch....

momsdispics447.jpg

As you may recall we were able to call the adr line and get a table for about an hour later. When we arrived at Tony's the hostess quickly greeted us and led us to our table.

On the way we happened upon a Hidden Mickey :mickeyjum!

momsdispics449.jpg

In case you're unfamiliar with Tony's, it is themed to the movie "The Lady and the Tramp" and named after the restaurant where they shared that famous bowl of spaghetti :lovestruc

Throughout the restaurant there are little tributes to those lovestruck canines and in the center of the dining room is this fountain...

After being seated our waitress quickly appeared and took our orders. Caitlin had the " Flavors of Italy" appetizer, as her entree, which has olives, deli meats, roasted garlic, and artichokes and grandma and I decided to split the spaghetti and meatballs. (if they were good enough for Lady and Tramp they were good enough for us!) I believe Michele ordered the Caesar salad.

Here is a picture of our spaghetti. (i didn't take pics of Caitlin's or Michele's)

Caitlin wasn't overhwhelmed with her choice but we thought the spaghetti and meatballs were very good! (of course it's kinda basic and hard to mess up)

We enjoyed good conversation while we ate and had a pleasant last WDW meal.

After we finished our entrees Caitlin and grandma decided there was just enough room left for dessert ;)

Caitlin went with the Tiramisu, which she loved!,

while grandma tried the strawberry cheesecake. How cute is this presentation?!

They both agreed that the desserts were the highlight of the meal.

When we finished eating it was time to part ways. Michele had a few things she wanted to do before her ME time and grandma needed to get her ECV back in time for it's scheduled pickup. Caitlin and I weren't quite ready to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom so we let grandma go back without us. We still had 2 hours left and we wanted to make the most of it!

What did we do....well, I'll let Caitlin fill you in on that! :)

Tony's looks like a really neat restaurant and I love the lady and the tramp fountain.

The desserts look delicious, especially the strawberry cheesecake.

Can't believe your almost at the end of your trip, but luckily your next one is just around the corner:goodvibes

Tony's looks like fun.
What else have you guys gotten there (I believe you went last time too)?
We have it booked in January and were wondering if there's anything that's a "don't miss!"

I loved the movie Lady andthe Tramp as a kid so I really love the theming here!

I saw your ticker....we hope you have an AMAZING time! :goodvibes If you see us say hi!

Dale and I went there on our anniversary trip last September and enjoyed it then too.

We were on the deluxe dining plan that trip and for our appetizers had their garlic cheese bread, which is topped with tomatoes, and the tomato mozzerella salad. We loved these appetizers and highly recommend them! The portions are good sized and we were able to split them :)

For Dale's entree he had the Shrimp Scampi Linguine which he loved!

I am quite predictable and had the spaghetti and meatballs on that visit too
